Early Access Review
When this game first released into early access it was a bit rough. Luckily the developers stuck with it and refined the gameplay. Yes, this game is different than the Cook Serve Delicious games in several ways, but I think it's a bit unfair to rate it negatively for that reason. The store page advertises it as a more story-based game that has cooking in it. The controls for cooking are more controller-focused and are built around repeating set button combinations for different cooking actions. It's not quite as intense as the Cook Serve Delicious games, but it makes me think a bit as I'm trying to do two separate actions such as holding a button with my left hand while tapping buttons on my right hand at the same time. The music is great, the food looks delicious, and I'm happy with how the game has been refined and reworked through the early access period. If you're looking for another Cook Serve Delicious game, this isn't more of the same, but what it's doing it does well.

I love the game loop and the devs are constantly putting out new free content. Almost all of my playtime has been with random players and the overwhelming majority of them are friendly and helpful. Some of the higher difficulties give you a good challenge but you can also play on Hazard 3 or lower difficulties and have a fairly chill experience.

This game is a weird combination of anxiety-inducing pressure followed by calmness when everything falls into place and I enter a zen-like state. The gist of the game is that you travel across the country in a food truck and serve up a variety of food to customers. There's some time management and prioritization you need to do as you race to prepare food before arriving at a stop for customers to pick up their orders. It can feel extremely hectic when things fall apart, but when they fall into place it feels all that much better.

As you progress further into the game you are pressured into trying new foods which have recipes which may be outside of your comfort zone, but you can setup your menus in such a way that you ease into new ones rather than being forced to to try and remember a ton of new recipes at once. The core gameplay is the same throughout most of the game so if you try it for a bit and it's not your thing, unfortunately it's more of the same but harder. Things get a little spicier in later stages with things like food truck attacks which can throw curveballs at you as well as level modifiers which require you to respond faster among other things.

I play this a typing game with my keyboard and being a decent typist, that feels the best for me. There is also the ability to play with a controller and the mouse so if you can't type well then there are other ways that may work for you. Local and remote co-op also are present, but I've only played single-player. The game should be easier if you have a good partner as you can divide the work between two people instead of just one. The soundtrack is incredible and all of the foods look delicious. At the time of this review I've played for over 61 hours and have gotten gold medals on all but 17 levels so there is a lot of game here for the price. If you like steam achievements there are also optional challenges where you do levels with more difficult foods. Be warned that some of those can be extremely difficult. If you enjoy the idea of a food truck management game where you prepare a large variety of foods then give this a try.

The game mainly consists of assassinating 9 key figures throughout 3 districts of 3 cities. In order to assassinate them, you must first complete a few missions which boil down to collecting items, pickpocketing a person, or assassinating another person. There are 6 of these missions in each district along with around 10 missions where you save citizens from guards. You don't have to complete them all to move on in the story and there's no incentive to. You don't gain any kind of reward for doing anything beyond the bare minimum and even the activities that you do are extremely repetitive. The game looks and sounds like it should be fun, but it's basically just grinding the same things over and over with nothing to motivate you.
