Will update if game gets cheesy. Good Battlefield so far. Lets see how they support this over the next year or two.

Early Access Review
It scratches that itch that Battlefield hasn't filled in nearly a decade, these few devs know that feel better than a billion dollar company. I can't recommend this enough, if you're on the fence just get it.

Call of Duty is reaching an point where the repetition in formula between the yearly titles is making it difficult to justify a yearly purchase. This game offers nothing new that keeps players engaged. By this I mean Zombies, while an interesting idea, isn't fun enough to pull you back in after a few rounds. You don't get to play the story, you're playing the story with the community so you're starting on Act whatever the story is at. The multiplayer is as good as the other Modern Warfare games, which isn't a compliment or insult, it's more of what you've already had, it's a homeostasis, that's boring. Also most weapons have way too many attachments, which make the majority of them pointless when everyone is following a meta. DMZ isn't even worth mentioning, good idea but good luck getting your friends to squad up for it.

It's a 6/10, if you can justify spending 60 bucks to play the same multiplayer you've played for a decade with some other features you'll touch once or twice, go for it.

This game isn't easy, it's quite a lot of fun, and the challenges it puts up feel very rewarding to beat but if you have difficulty sitting through experiences where you learn by trial and error you're going to get frustrated pretty quickly.

If you're one of those "I'll wait for it to be on sale" kinda people, I totally understand, but this game is actually worth the money now. Don't miss out on an experience because of "The Souls" community, you can play however you want. Again, don't miss out on a modern classic.

If this game ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed hard towards the end, I'll return and lower my score, but currently I'm putting this at a 9 and a half out of 10. In ways I want to say this is as close to real time D&D as you're gonna get.

In regards to people who are interested, this game starts off boring, these mechanics are pretty basic. Click on stuff, and follow dialogue trees. The thing is, as you continue playing, the quality of that dialogue content becomes very apparent. This game has fantastic writing and really opens up story-wise when you start figuring out who you are.

Don't go in with a game plan, go in blind and find a "mentality" to stick to. Don't try to be you, play this like D&D and choose your flaws and own them.

Anyways to review this so far, I'm on day 3, and I'm in love with this story and this world. If this game sticks the landing i'll be back to edit this review and say so but for right now I'm very happy. 8.8/10

I have a 2080 Super with an I7-9700. I run almost all settings on high or ultra besides the ones recommended on various sites that lower performance. (if you're having issues with frame rate dropping i'd recommend googling what settings to lower to get a more stable/better framerate.) In my 40 hours of playing i've had zero bugs that have crashed the game or halted my progress on a mission, I've had plenty of texture issues and bugs coming from the game itself but my machine runs this game relatively fine.

On to the game, of which i have not at this time completed. This game is the next generation of RPG's, but not exactly in the sense you may think, as that's not a very impressive feat to accomplish:

NPC Interaction: If you've played a game like Fallout 3 or really any RPG where you have face to face interactions with NPC's, you'll find this game handles those interactions in a much more fluid comfortable way. You're not given uncomfortable dead eyed stares and the characters don't literally freeze while waiting for your response to their dialogue like previous types of RPG's do. The feeling that these characters display while talking to you comes off as more human than videogame if compared to similar styled games, and that's a total plus as you'll be spending plenty of time staring at NPC's talking to you here.

Gunplay: I think what hampers the early game experience Cyberpunk is that it doesn't provide any taste of what having the enhancements from the skill trees feels like, which directly plays into combat. You're rewarded in this game for using specific weapons often. For example if you use a pistol, the pistol sub-tree will generate the currency to apply a point in any skill tree of your choosing. Investing in these trees can at times be detrimental to your fun if you aren't awarded new guns that aren't under those trees. For example i had intended to run shotgun and fists with a few points in sneaking, but found myself investing in the assault rifle tree heavily and completely abandoning fists after some time simply because i would get low powered shotguns, i was kind of forced to diversify when i never had that intention. When speaking of the actual gunplay, it ranges from bland to pretty fun depending on your weapon and style. Some weapons can feel like a chore to put even 1 enemy down with, while some guns (looking at you bolt action sniper rifle) can blow pretty much anyones head clean off their shoulders. I have yet to play or invest in much melee or pistols as I found them to be the least interesting, but i'll probably try to run those weapons next play-through.

Vehicles: I have a motto about controller vs M+KB.
"If you want more accurate combat experience but kind of miserable driving, use a M+KB. Vise Versa for controller"
A few things to touch on here are do you want to drive in first person to maintain that immersion or do you not give a ♥♥♥♥? And what kind of vehicle would you like to use?

So for that first question, I get it, you play in first person the whole game, having the camera above your vehicle can take you out of that "immersion". If that doesn't bother you, the rule to live by here at least on M+KB is if you like first person bikes offer the most viewing space, obviously cars have blind spots and this game doesn't skirt around that. If you're fine with going overhead, I might still have to say i recommend bikes, they're easier to get around other vehicles in mostly have a better ability to turn and to stop, which you will be doing TONS of as you notice you blew past the turn you were supposed to make. This will happen a ton of times, I haven't honestly gotten mad enough to check for a setting to zoom the in vehicle map/gps out but if there isn't an option to do so come what may.

Overall the complains I have aren't really all that bad, that being that the gunplay becoming more dynamic depends on your skill tree investment incorporated with the random gun loot+crafting, the driving can at times be pretty frustrating when relying on the GPS, and the bugs can easily ruin an immersive moment, causing you to quicksave and reload to generally fix the problem. These things are gripes, and subjective, the story at the time i'm writing this is interesting and doesn't exactly push you to believe what the outcome may be, I'm 40 hours in and i'm not exactly sure how this things going to wrap up.

So for all that, I want to give this game a solid 8 out of 10, with improvements promised in the near future I could easily see this being at least a 9 to 9.5. This game when it shines is one of the best in it's genre and while currently it's getting very well deserved scrutiny for the business practices the company has pursued I think when the dust settles and the kinks are ironed out this title will be among most peoples favorite games of the decade.
