Sadly the fun mechanics and cute sprites are overshadowed by the obtuse and old fashioned netplay, the lobby option will disconect both players if the ping betwen both of them adds more than 120 most players dont get past the character select screen. The ones that do play do by porting forward with their modems and pairing together on discord servers.

If you arent up to for both of those task like I am, the gqame will be contained to the single player campaign and local multiplayer, being a fighting game I would consider easy and quick access to multiplayer the bare minimum for most people which is why I woulndt recomend this game.
