Great game, stunning visuals and a story you really would love to see expanded on. Currently there is a lot of bugs to be fixed, but it's not making the game unplayable in any way. Will be playing this for a while ;)

10/10 is you're interested in building, crafting, "grinding" and destruction!

Similar to Robocraft, you build vehicles. Of death and destruction! Except this looks and feel a LOT better.
I've played a decent amount of Robocraft and one that that always annoyed me, was the graphics.
Very kid friendly.
Now Crossout on the other hand has fully embraced the Madmax theme and boy does is look awesome!
The building aspect of the game is where it shines the most (at least for me!), since you're pretty much free to build whatever with the parts available. I usually go for the fun build - i.e building a teddybear, because why not! It's FUN! :D
But ofcourse, as in Robocraft, people also go for viability, so lots of build look a like. Some people are competitive, others play for laughs and giggles ;)

But the best thing is, even though you've made a "troll" build, you can still be useful in a lot of way!
Want to build a crane, that can hoist enemies into the air and drag them to your team? Good, because you can do that here!

So if you're creative and want a fun game, THAT IS FREE!!, then download Crossout.
And if you love it, donate a little to the developers. There are few packs actually worth picking up in the cash shop :)
(Some people say it's p2w, I say it's p2getmorestufftoactuallyplaywith!! XD)

So uhm.. yeah. A few into this game so far and I think it's fair to say that I sort of like it. Much like ANY online game where PVP is prevelant, there will be aspects to this game you won't like. But then again, there's dinos. And you can tame 'em! AND FLIPPIN' RIDE THEM! C'mon.. Don't tell me that doesn't flick a very particular button, knowatimsayin :3

I can't tell you to play this game, as I don't know what you're into.. but!
Do you like building epic bases? This game has a LOT of that.. a... LOT!
Do you like hunting for that perfect tame and breed it? Well, WE GOT THAT TOO..
Do you like small AND large scale pvp battles? Oh, there's plenty of that here boyo..

This game basically let's you play it the way you want to, and with all the unofficial servers and MODS ( OH GOD, THE MODS!), you will always be able to find a server that meets all your needs.
OR.. you can simply rent a server for cheap and install the mods, collection rates/xp rates etc. as you want and play that server solo or with friends. You can even manage your server(s) through your phone if you use Nitrado hosting services! NEAT!!

Anyways, I'm off to kick some Dodo's. Yeah, they're not extinct here yet! *zooms away on a max movespeed sheep!*

=============================:OLD REVIEW:=============================
You like to grind? PERFECT!
You also like to get wiped by alpha tribes, over and over again? EXCELLENT!!
You don't want to complete great storylines in other games, in the time it takes to tame 1 mid level dino? SPECTACULAR!!!

This is the game for YOU!

Here you will start out with nothing, build something and end up with, you guessed it - NOTHING :D
At least this is the story of official servers.

Playing unofficial servers can on the other hand be VERY much enjoyable.
There you will mostly have multipliers to EXP, harvesting and taming. Some cases breeding as well!
And there are mods, endless amounts of mods to enhance the gameplay AND your offline duration.

Same goes for singleplayer, but as I am almost always drawn to the multiplayer aspect,
I haven't been doing much solo - except for the part of playing solo on a multiplayer server.

The game has the potential to be the greatest game ever, but like most things, there are flaws within the beast.
And most of the time, these have gone untouched for the entirety of the games existance.
Some see them as game breaking, others will view them as a minor bug.

Overall, I'd give ARK: Survival Evolved a 8/10 - which is still a high score in my book!

The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot!

The title tells you all you need - you have a castle to protect and others to invade!
What happens in the game is that you choose from whichever available character and you then invade other players/ PC's castles and steal their loot!
In return they can then retaliate and test themselves against your very own defenses!

It's all solid - but the game seems to be fated for death.
A lot of the updates done in the game has made some people upset and others claim it's all for the better, same as with any game.

But when fundamental features, such as replays from player attacks, are getting removed on an almost daily basis - where is the fun of building a castle?

The greatest fun in this game is wrecking another players castle, leaving a terrifying comment and then wait for the retaliation. It rarely happens..

You can attack 50 castles, you then log off and maybe wait till the next day to check what's happened! So exciting!
But.. They made a quick update and now the 10 replays you've gotten aren't available for viewing. Not so exciting!

All in all I've had a lot of fun, for all about 20 hours. Even though the launcher in the bottom right corner of your desktop still counts as game hours, if it's not closed down entirely. Nice way of getting great statistics! False though..

I don't know what to say - it's a close resemblance to Carmageddon, but with lag. Extreme and somehow "intentional" lag. I can only either win a game by being faster than everyone or lose by having to fall behind. All this is because everytime I get near an opponent, the game reduces itself to a 2-3 frames pr. sec kinda game..

It's impossible to play - I meet all the lousy req's this game has by far - so why am I lagging?
The internets aren't broken, pc running on very healthy status and it's versus bots most the time. (Cuz' you just want to play a quick match!)

So the lagg must be intentional - don't buy this game unless they change THAT part. 2/10 (Only reason it isn't 0/10 is because it's a "Carmageddon look-a-like")
