What's not to like? Very replayable, or just go for one long play, doesn't matter. The galaxy is yours.

I started playing Squad after a free weekend, and bought it immediately. The game plays like no other when everything is right. It takes a some time to get used to the large scale warfare, but once you know to stay with your squad you'll avoid the running sim mini game.

I've put a ton of hours into the game and have met some awesome people. The community is 80% great, but can get a bit toxic at times, mainly racist, immature, and hyper competitive out of context. It's to be expected tho, since half the players are wannabe "mil sim" enthusiasts.

Don't be afraid of being stuck with a squad leader role, It's the best part of the game and the most unique feature of any game. Most people are excited to follow orders offensive or defensive. I wish the Devs did more to incentivize squad leading tho since the decision fatigue and backseat squad leaders can really get old after a few rounds.
