Der DLC besteht, genau wie das Hauptspiel, aus nichts anderem als dem stumpfen abarbeiten einer Liste mit Aufgaben. An verschiedenen Punkten 10 Soldaten fressen, 10 Gegner fressen, ein paar Türme mit Zeug abwerfen, Nummernschilder und Sehenswürdigkeiten sammeln oder Boote zerstören. Das ist nicht innovativ, aber wer sowas gerne macht, kann damit gut seine Zeit totschlagen.

Glücklicherweise gibt es für jede Art von Aufgaben auch Mutationen, Perks und Mechaniken, um diese möglichst schnell abarbeiten zu können. Mehr schaden an Booten, mehr Lungenvolumen, höhere Geschwindigkeit zu Wasser und an Land oder Perks durch die man Gesundheit regeneriert oder durch die Wurfgeschosse mehr schaden machen und weiter fliegen. Das erspart einiges an Zeit und macht das Ganze um einiges belohnender.

Trotzdem sind Spiel und DLC mit 45€ viel zu teuer. Im Sale kann man es mitnehmen, ansonsten eher nicht.

This is the first time I thoroughly enjoy a Codemasters F1 game during its release phase since F1 2012.
The almost notorious game breaking bugs the last 10 games released with are no more.

MyTeam 2.0 is good fun, driver career is fun, the handling is fun and Breaking Point is fun too..

The AI got massively improved racecraft and are now pretty decent in ERS managment. That means they appear to be OP on the straights sometime but in reality (at least in my experience) you just need to push to saty in the DRS window and start learning to properly manage ERS yourself and you will be good.

The only issue they still have is they´re terrible starters and at least during a short qualifying they´re terrible in making their last run during the end of the session.

Overall the right now is about as good as 2020 was after it got patched into a decent state.

Game is good, not as brilliant as many other people here claim but it´s still good. However for a game that´s main point is racing through different eras of Formula 1 it would have been nice if there was at least some visual progression bewteen the decades.

This could be a filter or showing a different HUD based on real life TV graphics at the time. Make the track site look different for every decade instead of having 2020 like sponsors (which obviously represent Aramco, Pirelli and Rolex) while racing with 1980s cars. Same goes for the tire texture, having blue walled wet tires on any car that´s not 2020 just looks wrong.

This stuff would easily implementable, espeically with the nice retro graphics and the game only being 3 GB large.

Also race strategy is a joke since you can easily win most races by having a one stop hard to soft strategy so that might need some tweaking as well.

Apart from that it´s a fun little game for 6 to 10 euro.

Positive:
+ Fast Travel between meditation points is finally a thing
+ Maps are bigger and not as confusing as in Fallen Order
+ Combat is a lot of fun
+ All the animations look great and some are very satisfying to watch - mainly finisher moves weapon changes
+ Puzzles are fun and usually have the right difficulty
+ Lightsaber and BD custiomisation is good

Neutral:
o The game only has 3 main planets that you´re cycling through.
o Story feels kinda random, it´s a basic Star Wars Story, you´ve seen every aspect of the story in other SW media already
o Game has some performance issues but it wasn´t too bad, however I had to lock the FPS at 60 to fix stuttering
o There are also some graphical glicthes but nothing terrible, however the underground flicker is annoying

Negative
- Way to many dumb collectibles like 100+ flower seeds
- Having to unlock colours for your outfits and weapons is no fun
- Most unlockable character custiomisation is beards that look the same or hairstyles you´d never use
- The game has bugs and glitches that shouldn´t exist, fortunately theres an in-game fix /workaround for all of them
- If you are a completionist: This game does not value your time at all. Not in the slightest.

Overall a fun experience if you can get it during a sale or via EA Play.

How are these games still so bad?

Codemasters make F1 games since they started to developed F1 2010 in 2009. That´s 14 years of experience, 2 of which are funded by EA and for some reason those 2 (technically 3 if you want to count in 2021) games are the worst of the franchise.

Yes, the handling is better and story mode is kinda enjoyable but the core gamemodes aren´t time trial and "Breaking Point" but career mode and multiplayer.

Multiplayer is no fun and it takes ages until you find a lobby just to be taken out into turn one. The whole lobby screen is confusing and it´s way to complicated to find a lobby which is set up in a way that you´d want to join.

Career mode wasn´t touched at all and is an exact copy of everything we´ve seen from 2020 (MyTeam) or even 2017 (Driver Career) onwards.
Sure, they tweaked some stuff and wanted to add some spice to the races by adding red flags and more different strategies for the AI. However that worked out in a way that red flags were broken for half a year and the variation in strategy just means that there´s one or two drivers that start with obviously terrible strategies when compared to the rest of the field, so you just know who by looking at the starting tires who will end up the race in far worse position than they should be.

On top of that this game still has a ton of bugs in it that in my opinion make it pointless to even try and play some seasons of career mode. For example you crash out in during the race and decide to retire so the game has to simulate the rest of the session. This results in AI drivers who lost their front wing managing to still secure a podium with 3 laps to go or some drivers just going for a zero stop strategy resulting in Albon and Tsunoda getting their first win / podium ever.

This game is no fun to play and the time spend with it is about 20% enjoyment 80% frustration. As always, most stuff Codemasters want to add to this series look pretty damn good on paper but the excecution is nothing but a very very bad joke.

One of the best and probably the best shooter with a modern based war scenario.
Controls are great, graphics are decent, characters are interesting, gameplay is fun and the story is amazing.

It´s so amazing even that you should leave the reviews now and do anything to not come across any spoilers. And if you´re like me and the story confuses you at some points and you´re not quiet sure what´s going on right now then just keep going and play it again right after you´ve finished it. With about 6 hours of play time that´s definitely doable and won´t feel tideous, if anything it will just *click* and you´ll understand what´s actually happening.

This game is a definite 10/10. It´s so good even that you´d wish more games were like this but at the same time you know that´d be a bad thing since if everything would be this good, nothing would. A true gem that everyone who plays singleplayer games for the sake of experienceing and properly thinking about the story should play.
