As someone who's turned off by the idea of a PVP extraction shooter, and the potential toxic environment it will bring upon you, ARC Raiders is the biggest breath of fresh air I've had experiencing people PERIOD. People have learned to gain sympathy and empathy from this game and I've had genuine nice encounters from people helping me and my friends get into the game. The PVE aspects also encourage and insentivise teamwork and getting through it together, something meaningful instead of mindlessly shooting each other purely to get better loot like a battle royale. You truly bond, make and break bonds with the people you meet, or get into risky scenarios with a group of friends, get a ton of loot and die as the ARC outpower you and you make memories from these moments, no matter good or bad they're always fun and memorable. And when you make it out with good loot as well while having fun, it's worth the extra risk.

It's a very nice, calming and silly social game and I love the webfisher customization even if it's limited as of now.

This game is pretty good now, I suggest giving it a try. There's also a ton of quality of life changes and a lot of care being put into it now after what Overwatch 2 was. Tons of progression and incentive to play without spending a dime, loot boxes especially which they contain EVERY Overwatch Classic + 2 shop skins (Which are 1900 each for Legendary ones) and they're garunteed every 20 boxes, which they're very generous with giving them out.

Very fun and rewarding when you get into it, and the 100% free cosmetics for dedicating time to the game is so worth it (Sorry if I mentioned the boxes a lot, I really like them as an avid player)
