Technical debt in 3K built up over time, but rather than supporting the players and fixing these issues CA has instead abandoned 3K in both patches and content just 2 years after release. CA has decided the proper move for fans of Total War is to focus on Warhammer and milking 3K fans with a sequel.

A wonderful blend of a text adventure, puzzler, and horror. The puzzles are just to the point where they involve some effort at times, but besides a small part right at the end never get to the point they're unworkable.

Graphics are for the most part quite good and the sound design is simply excellent and really ties the atmosphere of individual episodes together.

Episodes 2 and 3 in particular are the highlights of this experimental horror anthology.

If possible I would definitely give a mixed rating.

While it starts decently it completely derails as it goes on, and not in a good way. You'll be fighting the controls, the irritating killer (with even more obnoxious SFX), and the just plain infuriating save layout and level mapping in the last 30-40% of the game. Coupled with the fact it's incredibly easy to lock yourself out of the "true' ending, and it's a game that you're better off watching a playthrough of.

There are pros however in that for the very limited team working on the game the art is enjoyable and the music while not mind-blowing is decent as well. It's an entertaining if rather tight-lipped and not entirely original horror concept as well.

Overall a good freshman effort from Devespresso, but hopefully they've done their homework when they release the sequel.

Heroically battled a Cyclops as a Danny Trejo lookalike for 1 hour until it fell off a cliff and died unclimatically halfway through the fight. 10/10.

A mostly uninspired, poorly explained, and drab version of TF2. Where explosive spam is king, and the gameplay feels like the mediocre parts of Call of Duty.

Without having played more then a few scant minutes. I can already tell you this is what Alien fans have been waiting for, and it's a game that gamers have been wanting for. The fact the PC version isn't just a port and the visuals when cranked to the max deliever an incredibly rich atmosphere only speaks more for it. While I still need to crawl in more, I would feel confident in already just on the strength of its homage to Alien's atmosphere and sound design saying this is one of the best atmospherically designed games ever, and definitely on a technical level of sound and graphical design. The Creative Assembly should feel incredibly proud, and Gearbox as always should feel terribly ashamed for the waste they made of the license.

This is a really interesting game, and it is somewhat fun. In addition the price of admission on a sale of ~3$ or less, you can't entirely go wrong. Yet, as a game itself it has some issues and it's unfortunate because I really want to love this game, but I just can't presently.

Pros
-------
Cheap
Fantastic graphics
Massive smorgasborg of ships in a battle at once
Decent soundtrack
Supposedly improved over Strike Suit Zero (Haven't played)
Difficult

Cons
-------
Difficulty is somewhat due to wrestling controls and some players (I was indifferent) might not like the lack of a difficulty option.
Controls are less then optimal and misses some important options.
AI is dumb as a rock, both allies and enemies
The view out the ship in 1st person view mode is very narrow
No quick shortcuts to roll
Serious Performance issues with the engine itself, engine slows down entirely with large amounts of ships, completely unrelated to hardware power of your PC.
In addition the game is prone to random crashing.

Score 6/10 (Alright)
Score if it was without control and performance issues 7.5/10 (Good)
