I have not played this game that much, but almost 2 hours in i found myself getting rekt by a boss multiple times over, there has basically been no character development apart from claptrap up to this point, the game play mostly consists of walking on a glacier (I hate Ice, Snow, winter maps) shooting some dudes so i can walk some more, and for what?

In those 2 hours i could have enjoyed a movie, a couple episodes of a series i should have catched up on, I COULD HAVE FINISHED A BOOK.

I could go take a walk in real life, go cycling, and here i was. sitting for 2 hours, walking on a glacier shooting some dudes and getting killed by a boss.

all just for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loot.

The Ship or as i've recently taken to calling it, The Shi*.

It is quite literally The Shi*. It is really fun to play with friends, still has active servers, although you need to connect from the steam server browser and not the ingame one, it still holds up.

Also, my first ever game on steam.

Overall, stunning graphics, awesome feel, physics on point for this kind of game.

Micro-transactions can be turned off but I highly suggest you dont unless youre buying this for a kid.
When you turn of microtransactions, you stop getting crates, whicb are highly sought after In the trading community.
Just dont buy keys unless you just want to.

Camera is changeable in many ways, like height, distance, field of view, stiffness, sensitivity etc.
Pressing Y on an xbox controller (space on keyboard) toggles ballcam, which is super handy for when you are driving away from the ball and want to quickly see where it is. I WOULD GREATLY SUGGEST TO NOT USE IT ALL THE TIME AS IT IS HARD TO DETERMINE WHERE OTHER CARS ETC ARE.

Controls are great depending on your input method. Gamepad controls are unmatched (except for a couple buttons like air roll etc) whereas keyboard and mouse is... well, lets just say dont buy this expecting a good experience with KB/M.

All in all a great game with some minor flaws, and microtransactions, if microtrabsactions dont bother you too much, I would suggest trying it out for a couple minutes, and eventually if you dont like it, just refund.
