🔞 ADULT: Id/Enterval - Collection

A masterpiece in emotional storytelling and character writing. There are not many characters I feel I would die for in gaming, Clementine is one of them. The story is everything you want it to be and more, I don't think I've ever experienced a roller coaster of emotions like this in all the super emotional games I've played (TLOU, RDR2 etc.) and its the only one that's made me tear up twice. Gameplay involves mainly making decisions, some of them are false choices, but the majority of them hold real weight and impact the story in a major way. Other than decisions your just doing quick time events and interacting with the objects in the various environments to solve puzzles. it's a step up from a walking simulator in terms of interaction, but it's still light on gameplay. The art style is subjective, its stronger in bright and colorful environments than it is the dark and grey ones, there's ups and downs to it, but stylistically it only improves as you move season to season, from both a gameplay perspective and a looks one. The definitive edition includes the mainline four seasons as well as the extra Michonne episodes (and 400 days, the season one bonus episode), I mention this only because I think the other parts are worth playing, the three Michonne episodes are very enjoyable, it's not what your buying the game for, but I tried it and was glad I did. It won't blow you away like the main game will, but like I said, worth a try. Your looking at ~40 hours for the main seasons, if you take your time and complete the extras making sure to do everything, assume a rough 50. Overall I think this is the perfect story game, and I would recommend it to anyone.
