💦 FULL SET: Id/Eruvos - Full Gallery 2025

I am a easily scared fragile soul, scary games are nightmarefuel and I rarely play them. This might not be in the horror genre, but it most definitely is scary nonetheless. Yet I tried this, and even though it at times scared the hell out of me, I loved it! It is most definitely one of the most impressive games I have played. Ranking quite high on my list of favorite games. As someone that loves open world, exploring, crafting/building and free will this is an absolute must-play.

I am especially impressed with all the details this game has. All the lore they put in to make everything more interesting.
I am a bit disappointed in myself that I did not read everything as I got them, but I still thought it was really fun to scan stuff and be able to read about them. I read a selected few data downloads and scan results compared to everything I scanned, but I liked reading about it. It felt important and almost real, even though it’s just lore for a game. I will be going back to read through absolutely everything.

Pros:
- Fantastic atmosphere
- The in debt difference between different biomes all throughout the game. And not to mention how many there are.
- Building and customizing your own base
- Complex building materials and blueprints
- Farming, it's fun to look around for stuff. Most things are pretty easy to acquire, until a few things in the end, and you have to explore the world to find different kinds of materials, fish and blueprints.
- It’s all pretty easy, you definitely will meet a lot of challenges but most of them are in the hands of random fish/predators you trigger, and not because of the story being difficult. This is in my eyes a good thing with a game like this.
- I really liked the timecapsules concept. Where you can find messages from others that have completed the game, and make your own as you complete it. I sadly did not find so many, but I really liked the ones I got. I hope someone enjoyed the one I sent out.


Cons:
- I really really wish this was a multiplayer game! Me and my friend played the game together, meaning we both played it on our computers and we shared our screens so we saw each others adventure. We went to the scary places together, and did the story together. It worked fine, but it would have been even better if we could actually experience it together in the same game.
- Some bugs are kinda annoying, like some of the worst predators would sometimes come through to a place they are *NOT* supposed to be. Or come crashing through a wall where you thought you were safe. This requires a lot of saving, to be sure it doesn’t happen and you have to start over way back. This was especially annoying when exploring the lowest parts (endgame)
- Another annoying bug is that when you enter Alien structures with the prawn suit it was really buggy, sometimes you would get stuck, or not be able to walk unless you used the grappling arm. And if you left the suit inside you would fall halfway through the floor. So your view would be from the floor and if you looked down you'd see half your body through the floor. It would fix itself if you left the alien structure and came back. But it would never work with the suit. This was annoying as I would have wanted to bring the suit all the way down for air, as I had to swim up for air more often than I would have preferred.

One last tip: One of the most fun things to do is to swim up to the most dangerous predators and try to scan them. Most likely you will die, but it's a lot of fun, and if you managed to do it (as I did with several) you'll have a great time and a good laugh.
