Good aside from the toxic player base.

I have quite a lot of time on this masterpiece. I'll keep it short and informative for those who are actually considering buying this game and isn't too sure about it. Let me tell you when I first heard of MHW I didn't think it'd be fun and then I bought the base game just to try it and if you love MMORPG's you'll feel right at home with this game. Not spoiling the monsters but they are for the most part very unique they come in all sizes with Feathers, Scales, Spikes, Mud, Rocks, Titanium skin, Fur that scorches whatever it touches, A fleshy membrane that weakens you. You name it! these enemies don't get any more creative or any less fun to fight again no matter if you're level 1, 20, 100, 999. There are difficulties for all kinds of players! Low Rank, High Rank, and Master rank all coming with their own set of challenges and adventure!

The customization and Modding of MHW PC specifically is what makes me always come clinging right back to this game. To be able to use up to 14 different weapon types with each a very unique moveset pros and cons. you can alter your builds even further with different move sets and more skills than I could name. The possibilities are limited by only yourself and your skill to kill the monster in which you need to progress even higher in the game.

What's the Endgame like? Is it boring? Honestly it can get bland only owning base game and beating the game since your stats will max out at rarity 8-9 where if you own iceborne you can get rarities up to 11-12 with game changing stats with reasonable challenge to achieve it. All in all as someone who's beat base and iceborne with HR 118 and MR 87 I still play and still constantly altering my builds to get stronger and stronger! The best part about Iceborne endgame is the freedom to make OP builds one after another thanks to having to just go back and fight those amazing monsters again.

If you're still considering buying this game stop only if you can't afford it. In the case that you can please give it a try, There's not many games with such in depth mechanics such as monster hunter. Besides who doesn't want to make they're own waifu with mods and armor "changes" :0
