I do enjoy Marvel Rivals — but that doesn’t mean I can recommend it without some serious caveats.

The game uses a similarly manipulative EOMM (Engagement Optimized Matchmaking) system that prioritizes player retention over fair, skill-based matches. It doesn’t reward consistent performance or improvement. Instead, it manufactures streaks—giving you a handful of wins, followed by a brutal string of losses—seemingly just to keep you emotionally invested and grinding. Matchmaking is blatantly unbalanced. You’ll often find yourself in lobbies where the team compositions make no sense, with huge discrepancies in rank or experience—clearly designed to engineer a specific result, not to create competitive or fun matches.

And while that alone would be frustrating, what makes it worse is how buggy the game is—especially after updates. Patches frequently cause corrupted files, forcing you to re-download the entire game instead of just the update. It’s incredibly annoying, especially for people with slower connections or limited bandwidth.

Marvel Rivals has real potential, and I genuinely enjoy the core gameplay when it works—but between the exploitative matchmaking and the technical instability, it’s hard to recommend unless you’re ready to deal with a lot of frustration.

Update:
I went and tried competitive again, and I gotta say—the first two seasons were fun, fresh, and fair. I honestly thought this would be the game that pushed Overwatch. I was wrong. As I said before, this game is using EOMM—and it shows. Yes, the devs can lie straight to our faces and say it doesn’t, but it absolutely does. I mean, come on—I got a bot match in ranked after losing several games with players who played like they never left bronze and to be honest, they clearly made it so you can’t queue as a full team in comp, just to force you into the EOMM hell.

To sum it up: matchmaking is bad, people are leaving negative reviews—and the devs’ “fix”? Gooner skins on the most popular female characters, often locked behind mini battle passes or limited-time shop offers to fuel FOMO and grab quick cash. Fixing matchmaking is clearly not a priority.

Let’s face it—Overwatch isn’t flawless, it has plenty of issues, but I’ve been enjoying matches there a lot more lately than in this game. Rivals seems to be trying hard to stay casual (and I gotta say, gooner) friendly.

So, as others have said: if you just want to chill and play your favorite Marvel hero in quick match, this game is perfect. Just relax, maybe buy a skin or two if you really like it—but don’t bother trying to climb in competitive. At least not untill they fix the matchmaking or add placement matches - like a true competitive game.

Coming from Xbox store, I have few hours on this game on both Steam and Xbox, this game has a huge potential and is fun with friends BUT the balance changes and "quality" of life changes they do to this game are broken.... tons of bugs, cheaters and the hits will never register even after they "fixed" the problems.
Oh yeah and they implemented the anti-cheat few times already, the game is still full of them.
I'd say, if you wanna have some fun with friends in PvP try the Open Seas, but if you are in it just to chill and do some adventures then try the Safer seas, its less frustrating even though it closes a big chunk of content, which of course means you would have big target on your back doing these.

If you like to build and create working buildings and vehicles then this is the game for you. This sandbox game let's you explore the space, while throwing in a bit of danger here and there. As you progress you open new ways to travel or gather energy.
On top of everything, if you are a programmer or would like to get into programming, this game can open new door to the ways, you can play and automatize tasks that would be otherwise taking you long time to finish.

Oh and btw, Uranium is a pain to find ! Love the reactors though.

Best game ever ! Playing since 2007.
Back in days when I was younger friend of mine told me about game/mod Sven Co-op. I was huge Half-Life fan of course and I was playing Opposing Force Coop so much that I knew every part of maps... Now .. I started Sven Co-op .. I was so hyped I couldn't stop staring at that main menu. Found my first server and there we are, Escape Series my first map. I loved it ! It was(and still is) great map... One of my favorite to be exact. Anyways ... The story is longer of course but im not going to bother you guys :) I love this game and you better love it too ! Happy playing and I hope we will meet in-game.

Whenever i start this game it's suddenly 12 hours later and i haven't eaten all day.

Also a tutorial from me on how to play GTA V if you hate the loading screen.

1.) Wake Up.
2.) Start the game.
3.) Shower, WC, etc.
4.) Eat
5.) Play some Overwatch
6.) Go out with friends.
7.) GTA V Online is now loaded so you can play it.

This is based on my experience ! The game is fun though, if you have friends to play it with that is.

Skvele spracovaná hra, ktorá má veľmi emocionálny príbeh. Autor vysvetľuje čo cítil počas hrania hier svojho kamaráta, snažil sa ho spoznať cez jeho výtvory no ku koncu zistil, že toho človeka vôbec nepozná, pretože on bol ten kto mu pokazil chuť tvoriť hry.
Potrebná znalosť angličtiny :)
