Little bit Risk of Rain 2 + little bit of Vampire Survivors + some other goodness = success.

Definitely a fun game that you can fall into. I don't want to call it a great "time waster" game but it really is a great way to waste some time.

It's really good. Gives me anxiety but is really good.

I went without playing this for a long time because I was afraid it would be an unfun game. I was very wrong. Jump Force is a fun experience for fans of any of the Jump series. There are several characters I have never seen before and even more I recognize by appearance only. It is exciting to get used to a character and their moveset. I really feel like I am progressing when I go up against a character I know and am able to avoid their attacks because I know their ranges/speed. I highly recommend picking this game up if you think it will be a fun time. (I am a casual fighting game player and cannot speak to high-tier play.)

I just realized how much of my time was spent raging not having any fun at all while playing this game. I never understood how people could enjoy Dark Souls or Bloodborne (I hate them personally), but I thought I understood their appeal after playing this game. It feels soooo good to beat other players in this game, and I though that learning to play was hard and the rush I felt while winning was worth it. I was so wrong. I spend about 70% of my time yelling at the bugs, glitches, and messed up hitboxes for this game and maybe 30% actually having fun. It is hard to have fun when you are losing as well. It is not worth the headache to play this game. The rush of winning is not worth the HOURS of anger and loss. In the end you don't feel the satisfaction you think you ought to feel. If you want a game that is balls hard but rewards you then go play a Souls game. I hear they do it a lot better.

Please don't waste your time on this game when you can spend your time playing so many better games. This is not the worst game, but it does not deserve your time. Don't waste a single hour playing this when you can get better games for cheaper.


Edited years later: I still think of this game all the time. As much as I hate it I would play again.

On sale for 20¢ is not a bad deal. It feels kind of like a Chuck-E-Cheese game that you drop a quarter in to play a few minutes. Recommending this game is hard. I mean, how can you recommend any game when you can get Terraria for $2.50 most days? Let me put it this way: I didn't hate the game. It was kind of difficult to control, but I still managed to beat a few levels with no problem. This game is no masterpiece, but it certainly does not deserve the hate that keeps coming at it. For a 5-minute play session, I can give this a strong 7/10. Play any more and you are wasting your time.
