-Gameplay happens in small space, even your base is pretty small
-The sin mechanic doen't introduce itself until the main playthrough is 3/4ths over
-The end credits play after you defeat the "final" boss, there's no indication that there's any new content after this point until you actually try to keep playing

Genuinely one of the best stories in any game I've ever played, ever. The character designs are outstanding: the robots are unique yet they all fit into a coherent design pattern, while the organic enemies and experiments touch on scientific / organic / body / mental horror, with touches of comedy and light sexuality to lighten the tone.

The gameplay itself is great too, if I'm going to nitpick (and I am), some of the enemies can feel like damage sponges and you're not really sold on new weapons very well. The first boss, the Hedgie, had it's weak points and "wait to strike" moments, but I don't think any of the other bosses had weak points, just "run and shoot <1%hp at a time". Also, you really have to try all the weapons out to understand their purposes, there's not much to indicate what weapons will be better or worse until you do so. "Bigger guns shoot harder" was enough to sell some of the guns, but of the 5 melee weapons available I was never temped to use anything but the default axe. While the game generously refunds resources if you want to change upgrade paths, I struggled to fully upgrade just one without leaving the rest behind, which is also why I stuck with the axe. Beating this the first time took me 18 hours, but If I wanted to 100% the game and explore every inch of the world it would probably be closer to 30 but the experience was so good I'm not going to complain about this, especially since I got this game 70% off (praise gaben).

My last critique: the game makes an *attempt* at a "choose your ending" scenario. Without spoilers, if you do what the game nudges you to do, you get a jaw-dropping twist ending that you might have seen coming if you'd been reading up on character lore found on terminals. If you pick the other option, you get... basically nothing. our guy walks away, and we assume Sechenov launches kollective as normal, but it's hard to tell exactly what happens next. I hear this lore is expanded in one of the DLCs but I'm not yet ready to buy DLC just yet

I don't really like it, but it doesn't deserve a bad review. Casual and interesting game, if a little repetitive at times.

This game is built for console- Extraordinarily simple controls, combat is easy and forgiving, low hardware demand, and there's almost no real time pressure. The story is heavily scripted and linear, the game world is relatively small and re-randomises every time / only when you hit a specific point in the story, and some mechanics don't exist until the story introduces them. There is beauty in this simplicity, complimented by the beautiful cinematics.

Plenty of trolling opportunities- one time I threw a derelict ship at a hauler with my towing brace, sending both flying away into the void.

Other devious activities include: Building multiple pecker-shaped ships, hoarding obscene quantities of cigarettes and scrap metal, venting the atmosphere on a space station and looting the bodies, intimidating a pirate into taking off their own space suit and walking out the airlock, sending a "prepare to be forcefully boarded" message to a pirate before they could do it first, and not yielding to a hauler and living to tell the tale.

During my first trip to Venus I forgot to install a toilet on my ship for the 28 (in-game) hour trip. I was lucky to received an honorable death in the end by crashing straight into the planet rather than painting my space suit brown on the inside.

A true classic in the idle games field, buy this if you want to support the devs of the original game or for nostalgia, otherwise play something else- this game doesn't really stand up to modern idle games.

There's no "offline gains" until much later in the game, both short term and long term progress is very slow, actively engaging in the game (clicking the cookie) does very little to help progress even if using an autoclicker, and the cost to buy new buildings rises faster than you can afford to pay for with the output of what you just bought so you basically have to wait for days to reach a "prestige" threshold for you to buy an upgrade that improves your overall gains to let you progress further without waiting until the heat death of the universe. The early game is very boring, and at the same time you *have* to keep it open and check on it every 10 minutes for several hours to progress

Bought this game on sale for 60% off, and that's what saved it from a negative review. The only other redeeming features is that the gameplay itself is pretty fun, and it's loyal to the movies. Do not buy this for less than 50% off.

This game is full of major performance issues and constant crashes, at only 12 hours my game has crashed 5 times at completely different areas, and there's a specific area on a specific mission that consistently causes FPS to drop from 120 to a flat 13, which has not been fixed after all this time. The game itself is short but there is a little replay value, though nothing like you'd see from a Resident Evil game for example. Graphically, the lighting stands out but some of the other textures are a little "10 years ago".

Cute little game (I'm not a furry btw)

My only criticism is that you have to be a human TAS bot to 5 star every level. You can beat the game in about an hour, and *almost* 100% the game in another hour, but even after learning the optimal path for each level (There is no randomness to any of the NPCs or any level generation) it's a struggle to 5 star every level. It took me at least 20 tries to 5 star level 5, each time I was off by <5 seconds. Same for the last two, always within 5 seconds.

I know the game wants you to have a 2070 but it's getting the most out of my 1060. Getting a solid 100fps even during combat, only problem is it runs at 80-85 degrees at mid graphical quality, though the game doesn't look bad on low乁( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ㄏ

The game itself is well fleshed out and my only real annoyance is with base management and getting 2-shot by pals 7 levels below me at lvl 25
