Damn I love this game, the world, music, combat and character and weapon designs are top-notch. But the performance is really wonky. I upgraded my PC to above the recommended specs for this game, and yet I still have to run it with frame generation enabled.

I'm sure with a few updates Capcom can start to work out the issues, and I suspect that Denuvo is one of the primary culprits in tanking mine and others framerates, but that'll likely be removed once all the "initial" sales are done.

Beyond that, my only real issue is that I want more content, but that always gets dripfed with time, and the fact that we have no layered weapons is rather silly, given that we now have all unique (and great looking) weapon designs again instead of the slap-on designs from World.

Once the performance issues are cleared up and that resource vampire Denuvo is gone, I'd be happy to recommend this game to anyone. Of course, I'm still gonna keep playing it anyway, I have crowns to farm.

I'll be damned if this isn't one of the best visual novel/investigation type games out there. Don't delay, buy today, and join The Company. .

Great writing, great art, incredible atmosphere, this game is excellent and Episode 0 is free, so you can try it out right now. If you're a fan of Ace Attorney, this is also a must-play.

The final boss of this DLC has an attack that actually directly targets my FPS. That's a bold move by the devs, I'm very impressed.

This DLC is incredible, the world looks great, the music is on par with the main game though I'd say nothing in particular stands out. The world is so densely packed with content and it's still such a huge map, you'll easily get lost and find about 10 things on your way to try and reach just one place. The DLC uses it's own levelling system, so pay attention and explore the world to increase your blessing level, because without that you'll get turned into a fine red mist in every encounter and deal very little damage.

Overall, my only real complaints are the optimization and that some of the rewards in far-away areas are pretty terrible. I don't need to find smithing stones when I can buy an infinite amount of them, and battling through a small army only to pickup a crafting recipe book feels rather deflating.

Oh, and the lore revelations are great. We'll be getting lore videos and debates for at least a year based on this DLC, and I'm here for it.

This game took me about 70-80 hours on my first play-through, and almost immediately after completing it, I started a new play-through. If that's not a recommendation, I don't know what is. Buy it already, the Absolute demands it.

The game is now in the place it probably should have started in, but we finally made it. Hopefully Overkill can push the momentum and we start ramping up the content now.

I still contend that the skill system in this game is in need of a big rework though, everything feels either generic, too important to miss, or nearly pointless.

Early Access Review
I bought this game back when it still had the baldspot tutorial guy, but never really played it. Now, in the span of 2 weeks, I've put 100 hours into it and I don't intend to stop. This game certainly isn't for everyone, it's brutal and can sometimes feel unfair, but it's incredibly immersive, has huge modding support, and it's probably one of the best survival games I've ever played.

10/10, you can smoke 100 cigarettes in an hour and actually get healthier, but eating wild berries will kill you.

I spent 140 hours comfortably exploring the entire map and after beating the final boss, I realised that I'd still missed a bunch of major content. This game is amazing, and I think it will only get better with time. Play it solo, with friends, completely naked with only a torch, however you like. It's as easy or as hard as you want it to be, and it's incredible.

Music is amazing, graphics are great, art direction too, the character customization is very detailed, and you can redo your entire look whenever you want.

My only complaint would be some shaky performance issues in certain areas, but I have no doubt those issues will be fixed soon enough, and even then, they hardly impacted my gameplay.

This game is absolutely worth your time.

Once I was able to get it running, this game was amazing. My PC struggled a bit at times, and updating my drivers seemed to make the game run worse, so I didn't finish the epilogue, but that doesn't change my opinion.

If you enjoyed the first game, this is definitely for you. If you've never played the first game, wait for a sale and try this one. Truly an engrossing and immersive experience with tons of character, and a gripping story that's very effective at using ludo-narrative synchronicity, for anyone that knows what that means.

The multiplayer seems a bit barren and dead-ended to me, but I didn't put much time into it.

8.5/10 Highly recommend, just make sure your computer can handle it well.

Translation is awful, the game can't be run in fullscreen, the story is confusing even without the chinglish.

Unintentional comedic timing and experiencing this with some buddies can make it better though.

Buy it for a laugh or a cruel prank.
