OneShot is many things. It's gorgeous, mesmerizing, fun, and mysterious. There's a lot that can be said about this game, and almost none of it is negative. If you're looking for some words of praise to motivate you to purcahse this project, then please do read below.

OneShot is a game that's simple in its outward appearance and it benefits from that greatly. Players will be deeply immersed in what starts off as a simple combine and solve puzzle game turns into a mysterious digital mystery game on the levels of 9/9/9 and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. A lasting consequence of actions and mysterious motivates behind everyone's actions in this game will leave you hooked.

Don't be quick to go looking for a guide for puzzles on the internet, many puzzles in this game are randomized for good reasons. A good design choice I agree with granted the games circumstances. Most of the puzzles in this game are not too difficult. Ranging from small brain teasers to simple thinking outside the box situations. However, few of them are done in a clever way that breaks the boundaries of any pixel puzzle game you've most likely played in the past. In fact it some of these puzzles are the most unique and ingenious ones of any indie game out there I'd say, and that's no small feat to achieve.

The sound track and sound design in this game are certainly worth praise. The sound effects, even minor things such as footsteps having random sounds, are just neat touches and appreciated effort you don't see in most RPG Maker engine games. As for the music, most of the songs carry a tune that keeps you motivated. Soft drums, fantastic bells and superb piano usage leaves no song jarring or uncomfortable to listen to. I gander many a song will be stuck in your head by the time you're done with this game.

This game being the first commercial title the team has created, its clear a lot of labor went into cultivating this game to be a pixel powered success. I'd easily give OneShot a 10/10. It's a game that sets out with a clear goal, with precise goals and ideas that you can see are fully realized along the way. There's no point that feels awkward in the games overarching story. No hiccups or uncertainty. Everything about this project speaks of honesty and confidence. I whole heartily recommend this game to anyone who has the energy and desire to sit down and play a cute and generously giving puzzle/adventure game.

Early Access Review
You have a lot of fun, not having fun. It's a strange game where you're more stressed about surviving than anything else but somehow its fun, do recommend.
