good gamefeel, substantial amount of content, great animation and artwork

Despite being a fully turn based JRPG (which I almost unilaterally hate) - and having a frankly horrible save system, look outside - by some miracle, managed to amaze and impress me at almost every turn.

Even after losing an hour of progress, I kept playing - just because I needed more. It has strong characters, strong writing, extremely impressive pixel art, and doesn't miss for me in any narrative sense.

And luckily - it's also not too long!

Beaten in 7 hours, well worth the time and frustration. If you're going to pick up and play this game - play on easy so you can save at any time, and have the freedom to try 'riskier' decisions without losing progress.

PS: Rat Baby is its own reward, anyone who tells you otherwise is a MONSTER!

Genuinely really good little dungeon fighter. I haven't played anything like it, in many ways it feels like a first person ARPG.
Great aesthetics, meaty feedback, low skill floor and high skill ceiling. The Dev is actively engaged with supporting the game and every update makes an already great game even better.

Also - incredible on the steam deck which is a big+

A short, sweet, extremely atmospheric experiment that can be played in 15 minutes. Absolutely worth it,

while the gameplay is nothing to write home about, the uniqueness of its presentation, and the heart with which its presented carry this game very far. A short, pleasant game which would be easy to recommend to anyone.
