A lovely game, perfect for when you've got that 4x itch to scratch (okay just 3x's in this case) but not the endless hours to pour into it. Feels really well balanced, challenging but eases you in nicely, and while there are plenty of random elements the times I've failed have always felt like my fault and I can track exactly where I was rash or should've done something different, and I feel rewarded by clever planning and care.

It's a small very well polished product, oozing with quality and beauty, I know this will be a game I keep coming back to, especially if more gets added. I would gladly see continued expansion of the tech trees, or a longer narrative mode to play through to feed my desire to return repeatedly to the very satisfying gameplay loop.

Very entertaining performances and plot. Puzzles felt very well balanced and the key Contradiction finding gameplay felt surprisingly elegant and fresh. Anybody who likes a good murder mystery I'm sure will thoroughly enjoy this game, and easily forgive it for it's lower budget asthetics and unresolved loose ends.

Certainly hoping it gets a sequel.
