what's wrong here???

even though this game is early access, i really like how it feels so far.

i'm looking forward to more things getting added to the game such as different enviornments, more monsters and more items and types of potions.

i haven't completed the game yet, but i am still at it.

this pretty much hit all my marks for a multiplayer vr experience so im happy.

at 1st i was simply up for playing the game because it was a multiplayer vr game for me to enjoy with my friends and i'm like "sure this is nice"

and then i fixed my ship and went out to space and then suddenly im hooked into this game as everything i wanted from the game for some reason was not on that planet.. or at least far away lol

the game isn't very optimized for vr, but i still have fun with it with the lowest settings with a gtx 1080

updates have been making the game more stable so that's great.

so now im happy my friend gifted me this one :)

good spook, good game.
coop, crossplay vr. lots of confused people, few pro players. plenty of screams. i'm satisfied.

i just wish we can have a collection of silly names for ghosts lol.

also i kinda would like the ghost to give me a thumbs-up when i say "thanks" or "thank you" when i ask it to open/close a door lol

TONS OF REPLAYABILITY

many different ways to multiplayer
many different ways to laugh at your attempts with wand of chaos ;)

if you like monster hunter, there's no reason to not like this one.

also this game is more accessible to people who are new to monster hunter, so feel free to hop in even if you just want to play with higher level friends, they have ways to allow them to play with you anyway!

I've had some great memories playing this with friends.
long story short, if you want an engaging multiplayer game to play with your friends and you're up for a decent challenge, this is it!

Long story short. this game is a little too early and needs quite a bit of work to iron out the reoccuring bugs and oversights.

this review is based on my playtime, which was only in VR mode.

1. upon starting the game up, there's a significant amount of lag (despite me being above the recomended system requirements) the lag continues throughout the game, even though you change the graphics settings to low. still looks and feels the same.

2. when i finally figured out how to make a room, i spawned under the game's terrain so i had to restart the game. this happened 3 times in a row.
so i decided to join someone else's game in hopes i'd actually be able to play it. that worked.

3. i was met with barely any sort of tutorial on the game's UI. i'm not saying there isn't a tutorial, but maybe because i have been unable to properly meet the tutorial, it completely missed me. so i ended up fiddling around with menu buttons since i found out if i look at my wrist watch (which is on the left hand) that it will spawn a circle of menu buttons.
i made a mistake and hit the build mode and was unable to leave build mode because i have not see any sort of button that allowed me to leave forcing me to restart the game again...

at this point, i'm pretty upset with my experience... seeing as i was only able to play for like 10% of my game's time...
to sum up everything i think would really help at this point is;

1. further optimization for lower and medium settings.
2. more time on fixing repeatable bugs
3. quality of life to make it quicker to understand and navigate through it's menus.

i don't mean to sound harsh, but despite how nice this game looks, it just needs more time to work out all it's kinks.
i'll probably try this game again in the future after reading some updates...

the game is fun, but to be honest, it really needs more content to fit the price, maybe 1 more stage with one more boss?

the good thing is the random enemies, and items, and map layout, but there's very few in all of the minimums. so the game just needs more variation.
it's nice that the update made the stages look different now but, when you see the same kind of enemies so much, it really leaves a lot to be desired.


don't get me wrong, even though i say this, i enjoyed it, i ended up putting 150+ hours just trying to get all the achievements.

other than pavlov, this is the only other FPS in VR that actually feels good.

i used to didn't like it over a year ago cause it felt so slow.

but just about every issue i had with this game is solved and i can play it with little frustration
