Very hard to not recommend this game but I can't recommend it in its current state. The amount of cheaters or just suspicious players that you find is absolutely insane. My first week or two on were phenomenal. Constant good runs, 6.0+ KDR. Week three it all went down hill out of no where. No warning, nothing just the flood gates of cheaters opened and in they came. I can't speak for the warfare side of the game as 90% of my hours are on operations, but if you play anything but Zero Dam easy, the starter map, you are at a 50% risk of finding at least one cheater. Maybe I'll come back once there is an actual PVE mode or they figure something out about the rampant cheaters but I don't have high hopes. The game itself is amazing, the gun play is realistic enough to make it fun but not so realistic as its a chore to make your loadouts. The movement is honestly pretty high on my list of one of the better games for me. This is like Tarkov and Grayzone but in an arcade version.

This game has huge POTENTIAL to be a great game. PVE Tarkov that we've all wanted for so long. That being said there are a few things I've noticed in 2 hours. The AI need a lot of rework, if I shoot your teammate and you're 50 feet away you definitely heard the shot and should react, I've noticed some will react based on distance but it is hit or miss. AI detection range: I should not get shot at from clear across the military base, you can't tell if I'm friend or foe from that distance. Pathing: We should be able to walk/jump up some of these rocks but we just can't. Quests: There's only a few different quests and they just repeat in the same area, I know it's an EA game but seeing the quest in the same spot, dropping the same items, in the same spot is going to get boring fast. I'd give it 3/5 stars at it's current state but with a lot of potential to improve.

If you love clutching a game and turning it from a 1v4 into a 1v1 just for your game to crash right before you win I 100% recommend this game. In all honesty, apart from the broken weapons and random crashes the game is great. AAA game that might as well be a decently polished EA game.

So worth it. It has improved so much in the time it's been out.

Spent 3 hours in one game grinding away. Lost on the last horde. Would do it again for sure lol. This game is amazing and was well worth the money spent. 9/10 just because I want the campaign.

Hey guys Frost here. I'm a WarZ/ ISS Veteran. I've been playing NewZ for around 8/9 months now getting over 500 hours before steam. This game isn't meant to be a survival game it's purely pvp based. If you want survival this isn't for you at all. Fredaikis and friends have done a great job rebuilding this game, removing most bugs and getting rid of most hackers. If you were a fan of old WarZ you'll probably want to grab this one too. There's no pay2win here. You use your gc for skins and crates for guns. You don't need premium to dominate in the game it only makes you get to where you need to be a little faster. You can't come into this game and expect to dominate, it won't happen. There is a learning curve when it comes to NewZ and you'll learn it a lot better with friends.

This game has a great story however the graphics are a little outdated the control is not up to par and the missions are so linear its unreal. The combat is non existant. Basically if you're seen you better run. And if you can sneak up on someone you push q and you just knock someone out. I remembered thief way differently than this.
