Its good.... like its actually good...

if you are not big into kart racers or the Sonic franchise then i'd wait for a discount.
however this is one of the better kart racers for sure, easily the best in recent years, the only complaint I have is that online has common communication issues which isn't all that surprising as the game just launched, hopefully this gets resolved soon.

A lot of content, good track selection and good amount of characters with more on the way.
Sega did good with this one!

I love the first two games and this game is still really good, its unfortunately a bit shorter then the other games however, wish it had a few more hours of story/gameplay but Its more of a spin off so Its not a big complaint.

No Sleep For Kaname Date is definitely a lot more puzzle heavy and the story is good but doesn't go as deep as the previous games, if you really like to hurt your brain trying to solve puzzles this is the game for you. As I said the story is good but nothing groundbreaking, no where close to how good the story was in the first AITSF but still holds its own, does have its own twist which was unexpected...

The new characters are great and fit into the story well, although since this game takes place before Nirvana Initiative it does feel strange having what seems like important characters absent from NI now however I understand this game was probably not an idea when making NI... I guess Boss can really just make anyone vanish.

Overall I still highly recommend playing especially if you are a fan of Spikes other games, I loved the subtle hints for NI and Aiba is as great as ever!

Amazing end to the trilogy!!
Combined with what already made the first two games great even better, a lot of focus on each main character and so much content and story to unpack!

Gameplay is addicting and satisfying, I'm curious what will be next in store...

A strong squeal!

Same positives as the first game, great story, great characters, and very satisfying gameplay with a lot of heart and soul put into the game

More attention is focused on the main character Malt which is one thing that was lacking in Fuga 1, and the story is much more emotional and gut wrenching! Looking forward to Fuga 3!

Very solid and satisfying gameplay.
A great turn based game with very likable characters and a fun twisted story, Fuga has a lot of charm and soul put into it, not to mention the combat is super satisfying and addicting.

Great game, but hard to compete with the first AITSF

Why it falls short of the first game and what it does better
AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative... I'll just use AI:N to keep it short, is a personal top 10 games for me, however it falls short of the first game.
I'll start with the improvements, the gameplay is probably the biggest improvement, there's more gameplay overall and the QTE's are a lot better throughout the game and don't feel as sloppy as it did in the first game, the Somniums are also a big improvement, more to do and new mechanics. The puzzles are also better throughout, they seem more thought out although be warned some of them are fairly difficult.
Personal preference on this one but I like the UI design better as well.

Characters are a mix bag for AI:N, the majority of the original characters have returned, and they are are still fairly similar to how they were in the first game, although half the game Date is just not as likable as he used to be, but kind of redeems himself at the end (Seriously I wish they gave him more of a heart in this game)
The new characters are alright, I'm not all to crazy for any of them, I do like the Masked Woman although her character makes no sense why she even exists, also Tama is great, would love to have seen Tama and Date pair up.

Okay the story is where this games really falls short of the first, that's not to say its a bad story but there is way to many inconsistency, especially since this game follows the events of the first AI, if AI:N was a stand alone game I think it would work a lot better, there would still be some inconsistency's but nearly as noticeable, I almost want to believe the dev's were not originally planning on making AI:N when they made the first game because so many things contradict and or seems like last moment idea's to cover up other inconsistency's, I won't spoil anything but a good example is the Masked Woman, I really like her character and her story would be fine if AI:N was its own game, but her existence literally does not make any logical sense in AI:N.
The inconsistency's aside, the story overall is still fairly good, It has some really interesting plot twists that within itself has some inconsistency's but looking past that its a really cool way it was pulled off,
The 閭。陜カ荵句、「邱ィEND Diverge ending honestly great, (Tokiko is interesting character)

Overall I still highly recommend Playing AI:N, however if you haven't play the first game I'd suggest playing that one first, although you don't have to in order to understand AI:N, much better gameplay, just wish the story was on par with the first, also... would be nice to have a 3rd game Spike???

An honest review after multiple playthroughs

I will leave a short review at the end if you just want a very straight to the point review

So here are my overall thoughts of the game, I will leave out any major spoilers, I of course will give my thoughts on the game as well as what I agree and disagree on what other people have to say about the game.

This is my fourth time playing AITSF, I picked this game up because it was on Xbox gamepass and didn't think to much of it at the time, I than played though the game two more times before I officially move to PC than played it here on Steam. I personally love this game and is one of if not my favorite game, but it is not perfect and I can see why some might not like this game at all.

AITSF Is a very story heavy game, The story is great and the game does a great job of really pulling you in and making you question everything, the game starts off alright, the start is probably the stories weakest part, the story is a bit slow at first but depending on the path you choose it can quickly pick up and become interesting, AITSF has whats called a flow chart and choices you make in the somniums are what determines the path you take, it doesn't matter as you need to complete all the paths to get the true ending anyways, It works really well because you get to see different outcomes. My personal favorite is Mizuki's ending.
The story has a good flow to it, there's not really any dead spots and for the most part the game doesn't overload you with information at any one giving point, however there is a lot of information throughout this game and if you don't have a good memory things might not makes sense as you continue through the game, on the contrary if you really pay attention and put all the puzzle pieces together you could theoretically solve the games main plot halfway through, even if you did there would still be some surprises though. Overall AITSF has one of the best stories in any game I've played and I really wish this game got more attention, it really deserves it.
Apart from the story, for the most part it is a serious story with a lot at stake and a lot of pressure, however the other side of this game is that its also a comedy in some way, this is where a lot of people have mixed feelings about the game because its either you like the comedy or you don't, I personally think that the balance between the serious story and the comedy work well together, you are not being overloaded with so much comedy that it takes away from the story and for the most part I enjoy the comedy, there are a lot of really funny moments but again this really just depends on your sense of humor.
There are only a few "questions" that don't get answers at the end of the game but they are not really important enough to really care about, as well there not really any plot discrepancies (I can't say the same thing for the second game)

Gameplay, oh boy this is definitely the games weakest part, the somniums are fun puzzles and tie into the story very well but its mostly walking around, picking the right option, which giving its setting I think is fine and suits the game well, however the QTE's are just bad, there a handful of them and not only are they easy, they go on for way to long, not the actual QTE's themselves there are only about 5 buttons you need to press per QTE, I mean long as in it takes 2 minutes in between each QTE because there "story" going on in between each one which really makes the QTE's sections feel super sluggish. (unlike with the story, the 2nd game improved a lot on the gameplay)

Characters, I've come across one or two posts about how bad the characters are in AITSF, and I completely disagree, I think the character building is done extremely well, apart from the few characters that are intentionally written to be disliked or annoying, most of the characters in AITSF are all written so well and is one of my favorite rosters.

Short review
I recommend if you like story heavy games that really make you think
I don't recommend if you are a very gameplay focus person
Game is about 30 hours to complete and is regularly on sale, so even if you are not sure you can pick this game up for like 80% off sometimes and give it a try then.

I also suggest playing the second game AI The Somnium Files nirvanA Initiative if you enjoyed this game, the story is a bit weaker but improved on some other things.

Got this on Mobile when it came out (links with google play) Game is overall fun but late game is very tedious and takes extremely long, have over 120 hours overall. Its fun if your not a completionist.
