BAD voice acting, BAD writing. Killing zombies is fun, but there's a lot of tailing missions and filler content: don't play this game. Play Uncharted or last of us my dawg.

Siren Head: The Siren's Forest is a game with many layers. On the surface, it is a terrifying horror game centered around a recent media sensation and creepy pasta: Siren Head. Beyond this, this game has a subversive, complicated story that comes up out of nowhere and hits you where you'd least expect it.

As someone who has spent 24 minutes 100 percenting this game, trust me when I say. This is scaaary.

Part 1: The scary side of Siren Head: The Siren's Forest

This game is freaking scary. It starts you off in the creepy, musty house with little light. You wander aimlessly for minutes, helplessly scampering around in the dark. little salvation arises when you find out you can turn on the flashlight. Even though you spend a good chunk of the game in this house, nothing really happens. I believe that this is what makes this section so truly terrifying. The next section, past the driving section is the forest section. Man when I tell you this is haunting, you better buckle up your jimmies cause this is haunting. I almost forgot about the boating section. That part made me have to go on a few month hiatus due to frequent nightmares and bed wetting. Overall I give this game a scary level of 5/10.

Part 2: The story of Siren Head: The Siren's Forest

I've already touched on a bit of the story elements with my earlier "Part 1: The scary side of Siren Head: The Siren's Forest" section however, in this "Part 2: The story of Siren Head: The Siren's Forest" I'm really going to take a deep dive into the story side of this game. So, before I get started I just want to let you know there will be story spoilers for this game ahead.

Spoilers: do not read if you haven't played the game

we start off the game in an alcoholic's house and almost immediately head into a truck(likely a ram 2500, but i digress). So, you get in and start to realize, hey, Why is there so much extra room in this truck. Is it possible that the MC(Main Character) had kids and Killed them? Idk I might be overanalyzing, but hguys I really think I'm onto something. Alright, flashforward to the forest section previously mentioned, The MC walks through siren's forest and hears the voices of lost kids yelling and ♥♥♥♥. So, he walks to this creepy ass junkyard section and gets chased by siren head it was honestly quite difficult and took me several tries. Guys, but realize what I said before that part: there were kids in the forest! This is when I realized that the Main character wasn't such a good guy after all. He hears the kids in the forest and just leaves them to die like a bastard. It was at this moment that I understood siren head as a villain. Siren head is chasing after the main character because he is a bad father. When I came to that realization I killed the MC many times purposefully due to his lack of care for his children. I finally pulled my self together, out of a deep rage and forced myself (like I do when I eat broccoli) to finish the rest of the story. The MC finally escapes the Siren's Forest. Thinking he's in the clear, he takes refuge on some rock in the ocean. NOPE ♥♥♥♥♥. Giant Siren head appears, leaving no escape for our evil MC. It was at this point I cheered out loud, one for finally beating this terrifying game, but secondly for the death of the Main character. This game, like Last of Us 2. lets you play as not the hero, but as the villain. While it was a tough bullet to chew, I realized the lesson this taught me. The lesson being be a good father. overall 9/10 on the story guys, I laughed, I cried, I nightmared, and best of all, I learned a lesson. Thanks a lot love you bye.
