There are obviously downsides to multiplayer Fallout, but it's multiplayer Fallout! For me, the upside of playing with my friends through one of my favorite franchises outweighs the downsides. In many cases, I think the game does the best it can considering the multiplayer aspect. Take VATS, for instance. Obviously, you can't manipulate time in a multiplayer game. But they still found a way to include it in a way that makes sense - at least to me. Again, it's not perfect and I'd like to see some changes, but Bethesda has made great improvements over the years including many I hoped for. The recent build anywhere update is a great example. I still wish I'd been able to bring my friends into the private instances. I'm sure there's a good reason for it, but surely there are workarounds. All in all, I'm a fan. I hope there are more games like this. I look forward to spending many more thousands of hours in them.

Best city sim to date. Mods are almost essential for traffic, but there are a ton of great ones that only enhance the game.
