The game's come along in leaps and bounds since launch. Best played with friends that have a like-minded playstyle. It can be slow to do things, but there's very much a "one more trip" loop that keeps you hooked.
The addition of the 100-level passive ranking system adds an extra wrinkle that rewards you for just being in the game doing whatever you want to do. Happy sails!
