When I saw the game at store It was quite interesting, so I downloaded It and started playing and my god how much clutter there is. Or maybe I'm just too old for these "newer" type games. However there was tons of random types of currency, all doing something else, tons of cards that tell you to click on them and have their effect and also the valorant style of gameplay. You pick a character, a weapon from box and then proceed to meet the "wall" at the start of the game which blocks you for quite sometime so everyone can get in position in defending site, while attackers ummm do nothing.

Every character does something else (which to be fair feels like a horrendous copycat of other games like Apex Legends where they straight up COPIED banners, emotes, skin tiers you know It looks similar but not quite), game teaches you nothing about maps, what character does [just look at the menu screen and watch what they do with your imagination lol xd].

So I'll just say that this is a gacha-like structured game, using blatant AI to make game even more cheap, everything is copied with nothing interesting to look at from other games (namely Valorant and Apex Legends) with weird chinesee anti-cheat software. Avoid this game and let It die out like "Super People", "Metro Conflict: Origin". Maybe someday there will be an innovating free game but not this time, this just a chineese slop

I really wanted to love this game as much as the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, but I just can't.

The Unreal Engine 5 slop is just beyond me, and my 6 GB VRAM GPU Isn't enough for this. Don't get me wrong, I really adored the atmosphere, characters the lore (which is my favorite part of this game and what made me finish this game in the first place), and gun play was just phenomenal.

However, the state the game has been released in isn't like a Cyberpunk 2077 level, but it still lacks many elements missing from older titles like A-Life system that had been cut out for the faster release. The tedious walk here, do this and comeback 4.2 KM back was so BORING running through empty fields while random 2 to 4 bandits spawn behind you from time to time wasn't a thing that I enjoyed. Some of the mechanics of the game also changed compared to the older titles like % based health drain (when you take damage it takes time before you take more damage, and It's impossible for NPCs to kill you in the open unless you don't spam med kits) while in for example Clear Sky you would have been killed in a micro second the moment you step out of the tree. The game isn't balanced for the hard difficulty because all it does it increase about 33% more hp for the enemies with a lot more DMG coming in from them on top of that.

But in the end, despite it's glaring issues, I managed to finish the game (buuut I had to use some external console commands, so the abnormal artifacts finally spawned in the places rather than being missing the whole game), and I loved every second of the story. If you're a big fan of the STALKER series, I recommend you wait for at least half a discount and some big patches like multiplayer or map expansions that they promised in season pass; maybe then the game will be in the right place finally.

not so edgy vampires cause y'know what a souls-like game needs? ANIME TITTIES or something idk, like the story is okay but the sheer amount of people playing this game are just pathethic people creating same character over and over again with type 7 uwu anime voice so their ♥♥♥♥ can shoot through their freaking desk so hard that it'll chonk on wood too

anyway gameplay is a mediocre souls-like game, the same spawns with same enemies everytime through the whole game, maps are cramped together like a an alley in london with gremlins poking out with a "kno'ife in th'ir ha'nd" and lastly the coop is really tedious, every time you want to change region in a map or you just plain die randomly due to a pushing of an enemy you gotta reconnect every single time and that takes AGES to do.

hopefully sequel will adress these issues who knows if you can bare with these arguments then go ahead maybe you'll have fun

Questionable changes to flashlights and really bland, unfinished chapters filled with bugs and perks that are completely overshadowed by others in the recent months. Not only that, the community behind this game has gotten to a Fortnite mental level.

What BHVR does with this?
For NOW - nothing. Maybe the 7th anniversary will bring something fresh but we'll see

I really hope this game will go back to It's good times so I have reason to have fun with this game.

Jokes aside
I cannot recommend this game to casual audience, beacuse the sheer number of competitive players and BHVR slowly making changes to the game that overwhelm most of the people playing this game... for fun. I really don't see this title as a competitive. Other game that had same type of crisis between casual and competitive players was Team Fortress 2 back in 2016. Turns out making the game that was built from the ground up for more casual sessions competitive wasn't so great idea but in the case of TF2 it survived however I can't tell if this game will.
