I thought it was a really spectacular experience to go through. The story and gameplay, while a little wonky, did feel like a complete experience that was fun to go through. The environmental storytelling, and the process of going from area to area, and seeing the tangible impact your actions had on the areas you explored was cool to see. One shining example I found really neat was a later series of levels where you had to stop a lumber mill. First level had you help the indigenous community fight off the invaders trying to tear down the trees; the second level had you go further into the companies territory and muck things up; and the final level involved you going into the lumber mill itself, freeing the slaves, and using your possession powers to force the CEO to sink all of his profits into a charity, bankrupting him and company as a whole. That whole process feels rewarding the play, because the positive actions you make have an impact on the world.

The characters you played as were cool. You had two characters: Munch, a strange fish thing who's the last of his kind. His main goal is to retrieve the last batch of his kinds eggs before they are sold off and eaten. Abe, returning from Abe's Oddysee and Exxodus, a former slave who's unwittingly become the Messiah for his people. Both of them function with similar power sets, but each have their own specialties. Abe can jump high, possess enemies, and can command his followers (modukons) to help fight enemies, or solve puzzles. Munch can swim, control machines, roll around in a wheelchair, and command rescue and command fuzzles, which resemble puffles from club penguin if they were thrown into Heavy Metal. Most levels involve you swapping between them to complete puzzles, or save creatures and people the other can't. The level design does a great job with it.

Highly recommend playing it for people who like wacky 3d puzzle/action games!

Terrific game with some of best moment to moment game play and character design of its genre! With its relaunch, I hope to see it find the audience it needs to stay around for years to come!
