FOR DEMOCRACY! AND FREEDOM (from sony)

As of right now, SOTF's world feels very empty, base building feels unnecessary because of the amount of energy drinks and food that you can find running from one cave to the next, running from one cave to another feels lonely and tedious, a true running simulator, i dare say this time around the map might be Too big, theres a few creatures that are missing from trailers but that is to be expected with early access. the pace of the game feels extremely fast because of the amount of resources and weapons you find, by the time you get used to using the bow, you find a better bow, and sometimes you upgrade a weapon before you even get a chance to use the old one. but at the same time the pace feels slow, i spent 3 hours running around to the previous caves i was in because i couldnt remember which ones had keycards, the world just feels so empty right now, and theres no mystery to finding caves because they are marked on the gps, it would be fascinating if you could find a note thaat mentioned a cave by a landmark or something, but right now its just running from point a to b mindlessly until you beat the game. i will adjust this review as content and tweaks are made, but right now i cant recommend it. TLDR; Base building is pointless. Map is enormous, but empty. Survival elements feel pointless because you find so much canned food and water. No mini-bosses. Weapon progression is too fast.

The hidden gem of open world multiplayer survival games. Games like Rust, Ark, Dayz, Ect. Ect. all share similaritys, What sets this game apart, at least in my eyes, is it is MELEE COMBAT ONLY, Which is awesome. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their gear progression system, and maps..Man, the map is so great, exploring all of its hidden gems really feels akin to Skyrim levels of exploration. 10/10 game, Mods make it 20/10
