I just want to make one thing clear, the negative reviews are NOT indicative of the quality of the game itself, but rather the actions of the publishing company SONY, for changing the PSN account from an optional to Mandatory, all in an effort to pad their own numbers. the game is not bad. the PUBLISHER is the one to blame. Until such a time that Sony reverses this decision, this game will sadly be sitting in my library, uninstalled, and unplayed.

Update 5/6/2024: Sony has reversed their decision, in no small part to how unite PC gamers had been in expressing their discontent at this attempt that would have left over half the player base UNABLE to play the game. Most of the Dev team had been working to help reverse the decision as well, though a few CMs were most definitely eager for the change to get ban happy. let this stand as a testament and a warning to other Publishers. we can hit you where it hurts, in the wallet, and in bad publicity. This review goes positive now, but should Sony attempt this crap again, it will go right back to negative.

Update 5/11/2024:
Did not expect to have to come back to this so soon, however, i must once again change my recommendation. Currently While it does not require a PSN account to play, SONY is actively blocking the game from being sold in countries that do not have access to PSN. as of this moment, it is delisted in over 150 counties (most of whom do not have access to PSN.) Personally i feel like these actions are self-sabotaging. But then they don't want a lot of money do they? SONY wants ALL the money. I can only imagine how this is going to go for other SONY games coming out in the near future.
