This is a really great story driven game, the look of it is beautiful. I had a lot of fun throughout and the story immerses you into this world of rats and death. Everything everywhere is affected by the plague, the world gets darker and more grotesque as the game progresses. The only issue I had with the game was that the sling shot feels clunky at times.

I got into this game a few months ago. I don't have any of the DLC content but nevertheless I worked tirelessly to get to like 1300. At this point I'm waiting for DLC to go on sale so I have more stuff to do, I don't think at this late stage with more DLC about to release that they are worth full price. There is plenty to do, the grind for higher gear and making builds is very slow but super rewarding. The game looks phenomenal, I love the world they have created and I think that's why I like the game so much. It does get repetitive but I'm used to playing World of Warcraft so running dungeons over and over is nothing new to me. I will say if you work towards a goal of making a specific build / getting certain stats you'll have more fun. My biggest issue with this game and it hurt me in D1 is that you are really hindered by not having friends to play with. There are certain things that are impossible to do without them, or are simply locked because of no matchmaking. If you want to sink time into a scifi shooter mmo this is probably the one.

This game stole my life.
