I played the demo, and I was smitten with it! I been playing it now on the full version for nearly 40 hours and I'm through loop 5, and it really does get better, and it's interesting where the game is going with the plot! I think all the negative comments are people are not used to a 'space shooter' roguelike, and it's a really nifty premise for such! ALso, It's amazing that 1 person did this game up, crazy to think it, but the passion and the 'this is my kinda game' shows through! I'm really loving it, and not seen any issues!

I don't even know where to begin. THis game, well, it's a great little metroidvania and I've only been at it for about an hour and a half. The crazyness of it is the fact that you get injected into the scientists' dog's fallopian tubes, then immeidately go to her womb, and start blasting parasites and all sorts of other things! My current progress is in the bladder, yes, the bladder. You have to lower and reaise the urine levels to progress through this area. I'm disgusted and enthralled at such an insanely weird mechanic! One thing is for sure, the creators did not pull any punches either, as there are all sorts of dead little doggo things inside Penny, the scientist's dog, as well as the White Blood Cells being represented by mechanized wolf like units, this game... just.. insane!

For basically a 2$ game, this is a helluva nice shooter! It takes a bit of going under the ? to figure out what everything does, as it's got a heck of a steep learning curve, but when you do get it, it's like, 'ah' and you realize that 90% of the parts you get are also trash. The 'Story' ramps up hard, and fast, so you need to grind to get your ship up to snuff before proceeding sometimes. As well, you can basically choose your own difficulty by the modifiers on each mission (non story) so that is always good as well if you're underpowered and just doing a grind or farming.

With the recent update and QOL patch the developer has done, the early game feels proper now. Balance to charge, laser time/heat, and the overall rebalancing of the cabs to have some merit to getting more then the starter one! Great start, and I can already FEEL the dramatic change just the laser and reactor charge has done for the game! Keep up the good work!

I never played the original Terra Tech, but it always slipped my mind.

I tried the demo of Terra tech Worlds a short while ago, loved it, even as short as it was.

Now, the EA release, and ooo.. damn, the whole progression from the demo to this EA is bad, like really bad. The amount of grind and RNG to get parts from the get go is an uphill battle, even unlocking several of the new cabs you are still VERY limited to power/recharge rates, and the enemies will just obliterate you if you don't armor up, which in turn reduces your ability to mine/fight back.

The cost for items is WAY overblown compared to what the demo offered, like, seriously skewed, and the hunt for resources is terrible. Just to experiment I got a cheat table to mess around, for extra goods, so I could just tinker after about 8 hours of legit playing. One thing I found out is that the Wind and Solar power do not work unless you have a carbon plant going, so, what is the point? I also tried desperately to find the swamp for some Niobium, and by shear luck I got a part I ground up for some, same with Strontium. The amount of resources, as I said, is far far too high in this version of the game right now.

While fun at first, this gets old REALLY fast. Ill shelve it for now, come back later if I see any changes, shame I forked down 28$ for this, as it' barely worth $10 in the state it is. If there was more substance to it, a bit more polish, then yeah, $25 for a nice little indie game for sure, but in the state that is is in, nope, I can't recommend it to anyone.
