Ladles and Jellyspoons, allow me to present the most clear example of "The Gamers" genuinely not understanding that Gameplay is King. You'll see this game getting absolutely ♥♥♥♥ on in online discussions because the Game Awards puts it up as a genuine contender for GOTY. And the ones *throwing* the fecal matter are pretty much all people who've never played it.
You're right. There is no compelling story. Doesn't matter. Gameplay is king.
The graphics are simplistic. Doesn't matter. Gameplay is king. (And the art style is actually great)
Yes, it was released on mobile. BECAUSE IT'S SO ACCESSIBLE THAT YOU CAN.

What you have here is one of the most ludicrously addictive, infinitely replayable, brain-scratchey, wild roguelikes ever built, certainly the best since Slay the Spire. The learning curve will take you under an hour to understand what you're working with, but quite a lot longer to really get into its guts. Once it's got its hooks in you, you will descend down this infinite chasm of insanity, and you'll love every second.

It is a BLESSING that this game is so cheap. get it.

But if you have ADHD, do NOT buy it on mobile, if you value your employment.

Simply THE definitive way to play Half-Life. lovingly recreates the original, with additions always feeling like enhancements, and subtractions merely removing parts that simply didn't work in the original.
I bought the soundtrack, too, because it's JUST that good.

If you're still wondering whether or not you should buy this game, you've been living under a rock. BG3 is the most flexible, well-written, deeply reactive and organic feeling RPG of all time. Period.

As with the first HuniePop, this game is far more complex than it has any right to be. A standout among erotic/dating games, the Hunie series has consistently provided a fun, challenging gameplay design around which to put all of the fanservice content. Challenging and dynamic, there are so many ways to approach these puzzles that it's worth a return again and again for the challenge, alone!
That said, the characters are colorful and the writing is snappy, overall I enjoyed myself! 3/5.

Early Access Review
Tower Unite is everything you wanted from Second life, without the predatory microtransactions, crappy interface, or impenetrable learning curve. The world works, the games all work, and the barrier to entry is incredibly low even for highly ambitious, creative projects. I was thoroughly surprised by how user-friendly and well-polished the game is even in its early access state, and I'm excited to see where this goes!

Tropico 4 is one of the easiest to learn city management games out there- and it's definitely a game, not a sim. But while it is a strategy game, it's not combat you'll be managing, but infrastructures and economies. It's got an excellent sense of humor, and an awesome soundtrack.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, start to finish, and I'd recommend it as an entry into the general city-building genre

What you're going to hear from people is that the game is same-ey. But really, it's a refined formula they've worked to perfection, the guns are satisfying and responsive, the upgrades are plentiful, the map is beautiful and wide, and while I suppose it fair that it feels like "just an update" to the Far Cry series, if open-world, taking-down-outposts, free-roaming, play-your-way combat is your thing, this is what you came for. the story is dumb, the characters are forgettable, the multiplayer is pointless.

But that's not why you play Far Cry.

CS:GO Review
Counter-Strike is a skill-builder, the kind of game where if you're good at it, you can apply the ability you've gained to pretty much any other shooter in existence. It's the progenitor of much that we know about competitive game formats, and it's so well balanced that it still has a massive following after 20 years and 3 versions.
If you think you're good at shooters, this is the game where you'll find out.
