So we hear nothing from the developers for over a year...no bug fixes...no balancing patches....no nothing for a game thats pretty much been abandoned. So when we finally hear something from the developers....its just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pointless skin released as part of a Warhammer franchise sale....yeah, the bare minimum of effort for a game that took two releases to try to deliver a playable game...and still dropped the ball.

If you ever sell the ship in game which only gives you normal credits, you then have to spend actual money if you want to buy it back as its not bound to your account even though the DLC pack is.

Sadly, I was disappointed in this product. I got it after coming across the Kickstarter page and finding out it was on Steam. From the Kickstarter page and the Alpha build footage I saw on YouTube it looked rather fun. This is sadly not what was advertised. It’s a bare bones visual novel that’s very short and has no actual interactive content or anything remotely considered a game. Its barely a visual novel. Nothing shown on Kickstarter or in the alpha footage seemed to make it into this supposedly finished product other than some pictures. What I saw of the Alpha footage of the game had far more content than what I got on Steam and I can’t seem to find any info on what happened or if what was originally presented on Kickstarter will ever actually make it into what I bought on Steam. I can’t recommend it as it is currently, and I have no idea if it ever will be what was originally proposed.

Its a fun little game with a pretty straightforward game mechanic. Best with friends, even if it ends up being a mess of friendly fire incidents that would get you kicked out of the military in real life. My only complaint is that they have not added anything to the game in terms of new enemies, locations, or content in some time and eventually it will get stale as you do the same thing over and over again just to earn a generally pointless and overly grindy new rank.

The game is dead sadly. The devs have given up on developement it seems as there has not even been a bug fix or balancing patch in a half year let alone a new content update. They have not even bothered to state on their forums about any future plans for the game and when asked they give you a standard line of BS that amounts to absolutely nothing. I cant recommend buying the game as multiplayer is pretty much dead unless you have some friends with the game, and the balance is just horrible with no promise of hotfixes, balance patches, updates, or even dev interest. Shame as the game had potential, but the devs took our money and ran, now they dont give a damn.

I had such high hopes for this game, but sadly it fell quite short. At this time I cant recommend this game mostly because of very poor optimization that makes it chug pretty badly. There is noticable frame rate issues, and even at max settings the game is rather ugly. Poor textures and some sort of awful film grain that makes the game look worse. The controls are awkward and while a game pad can be hooked up and used its set up very poorly and the game pad setting option in the config screen is greyed out and does not allow you to change settings. Another issue is the sound, its pretty bad. While the voice overs seem to have been updated since the beta, nothing else was. The sound effects are mostly too hallow and light, they dont make you feel like you are a giant space marine in super heavy power armor. Breaking walls and doors sound insignificant and they have no impact behind the blows. I really wanted this game to be good as we need more good Warhammer 40k games, but this one feels rather half assed to be honest. If the game gets patched to fix the frame rate stutter, controls issues, poor graphics and sounds, perhaps I will play it. As is though I am sadly tempted to ask for a refund. =(
