If you are a fan of the 2d The Legend of Zelda games then you are probably going to enjoy this game alot. Granted, it is more focused on Puzzles than The Legend of Zelda but it has its very own charm to it like the romance and unique characters in this game. I bought this game because I wanted some Zelda - esque action and then stayed because of the Characters and romance. I can´t stress enough how much of an impact the characters have on the overall enjoyment of the game, let´s not forget about the amazing soundtrack either. I really hope we get more Colorgrave games like this, the characters they write are just so uniquely fun. (Also, if you liked this game, you should consider trying Veritus (the successor) as well. I don´t think it is as good as Prodigal but still a good game on its own.)

I initially bought this game because I loved Prodigal and Veritus and was not dissappointed. Something Colorgrave really has a knack for, is how they write characters and design them, this game is no exception to that. While the gameplay might not be for everyone, it certainly has atmosphere and is great if you just want to sit back and relax a little. At the time of writing this review, I am not yet done with the main game but I am looking forward to finishing the game and spending more time with the characters. I think my favourite is the mail lady, she seems a little whack and I love it

Okay, I am still high on adrenaline as I am writing this, this game is absolutely amazing! It plays like the games in the Contra/Probotector series and looks like it too, specifically the NES - Games of the series. The controls are better compared to the NES games since you can actually aim while standing still which is very useful. The gameplay is very addictive and fun, the soundtrack totally slaps and the difficulty is what you would expect from a Contra/Probotector - esque game. The difficulty ramps up alot towards the end of the game, especially the final boss of the game. I´ve finished this game in about 8 hours and 3 to 4 hours were spent on the final boss alone.

Overall a strong recommendation and a must play for fans of the Probotector/Contra series and people who like oldschool or difficult games.
