My friend got mad at me when I played this game and won.

Then my friend got mad at me that I didn't review this game till now. :^)

THEN he got mad at me for not mentioning the YEAG code.

They don't make em like they used to, except for this one, made like how platformers used to be.

This game is a load of fun. Snappy combat engine and juggle system for a beatemup. It's a game with not a lot of polish, but the freeform and fluid combat is what matters most to me and it's here in spades. If you like games with good combat engines similar to double dragon neon or combat-oriented RPG's like the yakuza series, then this one's a no brainer. If not, this game is a cheap thrill when on sale to get into the genre.

I'm shocked to hear there are people who never played or heard of this game, 14 years after strider ps2 this is the next and the very best in the series. Metroidvania goodness and it's just gorgeous to boot. Can be unfair in difficulty at times and a bit buggy but this is one ride you wouldn't want to miss out on.

This game's main mechanic is incredibly fun. Spiderman 2 esque swinging around and unique creative freedom freedom not seen since portal. Def get this.

The best not smash smash game (aside from Project M). Plays most like smash 64 but is more like its own thing. Has a lot of unique gimmics and system nuances that makes the limited character pool feel more fleshed out. Come at my Frosburn online!
