I support and cherish all people who played the OG PUBG during the summer of 2018. For it was the best time anybody could've experienced this game, and this is not just some old-school novelty nostalgia. At its current state, the game has been overrun by mountains of over-saturated content in update race wars with Fortnite, Apex, Warzone, and many more. It's not the developer's fault for adding in things, but rather a distasteful fact. The fact that this game does not respect your time, and you shouldn't either. For every new shiny toy, a skin, a season, and a questionable gameplay decision added in, it is another moment to reflect and reconsider playing this game by yourself or with friends. Games are art, meant to evoke interest, curiosity, and most important of all, fun. This is not a game, this is a sellout money-making machine.
