Arc Raiders has solid gunplay, great atmosphere, and a cool setting. Unfortunately, none of that matters because the dominant playstyle is gear fear, camping, and mine spam.

Most players don’t want gunfights. They want insurance fraud. Rooms get camped for minutes, mines are stacked on doors and corners, and people just sit there waiting for someone brave enough to actually move. If you push, explore, or try to play aggressively, you’re punished instantly — usually by a mine followed by a camper finishing you off.

And before anyone says “that’s tactical”: no, it’s not.
I don’t care about losing my purple gear. That’s the point of an extraction shooter. But earn it in a real gunfight, not by hiding in a room like you’re guarding your last brain cell.

Right now, the game rewards doing absolutely nothing. Movement is risky, initiative is punished, and passive play is king. The result? Slow, empty matches where nothing happens until you randomly explode or get shot in the back by someone who hasn’t moved in five minutes.

Verdict:
Arc Raiders has the potential to be great, but the current meta turns it into a camping simulator with loot loss. Until the game discourages gear fear, mine abuse, and extreme passivity, it’s less about skill and more about who’s willing to sit still the longest.

Great foundation. Terrible meta. Fix it.

Idk what happened too the game it used to be so Good 2-4 Years ago but now it has gone to ♥♥♥♥. No Single fun Moment anymore in this game it is just Sad what happened too the game.
