great game, almost more like watching a new movie/show, but you get to play just enough to feel a part of it. Unfortunately there's not more than like 4-10 hours of game play at the moment, so not worth more than 30$ based on content. The quality of those 4 playable chapters is great though. Looks like they plan on releasing the second half of the story soon. Definitely worth a try.

It is decently fun for a while, exploring. I definitely have not done everything. Although my review is mostly negative, its still fun for survival craft fans.

It's just Conan Exiles with Dune skins, with even less content. You can't even sand walk in a dune game!? It takes a vehicle to do anything meaningful, or go anywhere. which just turns into loot runs on a speeder bike until you get tired of the game.

Up'tiering and crafting new stuff is slow, and not very satisfying. You need to carry around like 13 different tools to do different things, but only have 8 inventory slots to hold them. Your inventory is just loitered with garbage that should be on action bars. All that farming you just did to make a new set of armor? congrats! the stats aren't really any better, and it looks almost the same as the last set. You can find better weapons before you can even craft them.

After the excitement of seeing the Dune worm a few times not much is going on. AI is bland once you've fought each type a couple times. extremely linear, can't really free explore into new zones without following the steps from the previous one. Melee combat is terrible, shooting combat is decent. PvP zones are small and few and far between, never saw any PvP. even on launch day.

If you like DUNE and want to get it for that reason, buy it. Otherwise wait for a sale to try.

I didn't realize until playing this game that mixing horse semen with marijuana was so profitable.
