If you were to play the original Super Meat Boy with a constantly drifting controller, a mushy jump button, and with your face up close to the display, that's what playing Forever feels like.

Random world generation with 5,000+ levels sounds like a lot of content, but most of it doesn't gel well, making a lot of levels spike in difficulty like a heart rate monitor during a marathon.

The enforced auto-running makes the game feel unfair more often since so many of the level obstacles can become impossible to overcome due to being slightly off when timing your actions.

Ridiculon tends to be a hit or miss to me personally when it comes to their music, but their tracks here sound generally good. But it also feels like a missed opportunity to have the music more in-tune with the level, with the level obstacles being timed to a rhythm rather than a hidden clock that only activates the moment you see the object on the screen. In this regard, something like Mad Rat Dead feels more balanced in difficulty and control, since the game was built around keeping to the beat.

In short: I will become back my money
