Game looks great and game play is fun. I am not a big fan of extraction shooters, but this one so far seems very approachable.

Campaign was a lot of fun. Boss fights and mechanics were fun to learn.

Cruel difficulty is pretty fun because your build can come online and you feel overpowered and roll through everything. Although I would have preferred for it to be a bit challenging (ex: Bosses having new mechanics instead of just simply hitting harder.)

End Game - so far least interesting part. 1 attempt maps, no longer allowed to revive if co-op player dies. It seems others are talking about this so hopefully GGG will make some adjustments during EA.

Performance wise: Game runs well. Early on I was getting full PC lockups during portals, but over the last few weeks it dramatically improved. It may happen once in the entire day where as before it was happening once every few hours.

Jackfrags led me astray.

Feels pretty clunky and very similar to BF2042. I'd would just play that or more likely just an older BF game over this

Friends and I enjoyed the game when it first came out, but I am not sure if the game is receiving proper dev support.

There appears to be an easily reproducible bug where the non-host player is unable to move after getting hit by an explosive/acid barrel. It happened to me twice within 15 minutes of playing so we decided to play something else. I checked the forums and it looks like people reported this bug back in Jan 2024 and it's still not fixed.

One of the best shooters on the market.

I was a big Battlefield player, which was a main reason why I was watching what Embark was developing. Even though this game is a hero builder FPS and the game modes are different, the game play reminds me of the chaotic fun that Battlefield Rush used to have.

Power Shift is a great casual mode (5v5) and can help you get a sense of what the various characters can do before you dive into World Tour or Ranked modes (4v4v4v4)

One of my favorite games that I almost wish I hadn't started playing yet because I know they are working on more content and even though I put about 100 hours played over a 2-3 week period I don't want it to end. Even though I have about 2 more bosses left it feels like it's a little less built out than the first 3 although that could just because I have become more confident in the game.

I recommend going into this game blind because discovering things naturally is some of the most fun. My friend had a little more play time at the start and for the first hour or so I wasn't really feeling it, but eventually I got hooked.

I love the sailing in the game and what I wished Sea of Thieves was. I am hoping others take note on how to build future survival/exploration games.

I have tried a couple VR shooters in the past, but none of them have really stuck with me. I have only palyed 2 hours so far but I am really enjoying my time. The game/animations looks great and has a good interaction model.
