ARK got better on the development front but their optimization is still crap. I hope you have a 500GB+ SSD or dedicated HDD to this game because it increases size by 100GB EVERY YEAR. We are currently over 400GB on this game. It won't even install updates for me anymore because I have no space left on my HDD's because of its ever increasing size. Wildcard won't do anything about it though. Prepare for the world first 1TB+ game cause give it a few more years and you will need a 1TB dedicated solely to this game.

Who has that kind of money to continually updating for a game we have already had to drop $200 on to even get?? It makes me wonder how many other, better optimized games, I could've bought in this time and stored on this harddrive in place of ARK. I'm beyond disappointed that this issue hasn't been solved yet. I know of games that are immensely larger in play field and graphics and are a whopping 60GB total and have been for years.

I get that ARK is a large game, but this is beyond ridiculous and I never thought I'd see the day where I would refuse to buy or download new DLC because I just don't have the time and money to keep up with the every growing space issues of this game.

Wildcard REFUSES to fix this. I've hit my limit with this game. It was fun while it lasted.

Great fun game. Lots of flexibility and never gets old
