The way micro works for this game it makes a defensive towering / economy play style easy to pickup which I enjoy. Unfortunately the AI can mass produce unrealistic armies compared to their economy.

Easy to learn this game. Progression feels good as you learn new skills. The best part is the nemesis system.

Bonus points for steam controller working well with this game.

Great value for this game. The triangle fighting mechanic for stricks, counters, and grabs gives the game depth. However, a new player such as myself can get into this without much of a learning curve.

Played this game many years ago. Just took a look at it again and it has become gated more by additional pay walls. You cannot pillage and roll with others without paying or grinding.
