Absolutely not.

'How can we take BO2 and ♥♥♥♥ all over it?'

That was the design process for BO7.

The zombies is... alright? One map at launch.

I bought this way back and then refunded it not long after.

Finding out it was abandoned, that was the best idea I ever made.

A shame. A proper RTS mount-and-blade guerrilla warfare game would be great.

If you are experiencing crashes or graphical errors on an NVIDIA GPU, temporarily downgrade your driver to April 30th's release, 576.28. This worked for me in multiple games, including this one for a little bit. However, it seems like the driver for the 50 series is still causing issues, but only with 4K textures enabled, disabling these fixed it. Hope this is fixed soon.

This game is great for a day 1 launch. There are obviously going to be bugs that crop up more often when you have a larger sample size for them to do so. Please be patient and allow them to fix them, even though they can be frustrating.

The game play is not too dissimilar from others within the series, yet there are some significant differences that people may pick up on. For example, there is no manual gearbox option, winches feel a bit more... fake, with the physics being a bit off and winches actually increasing engine power for whatever you're winching. The crane controls are a bit funky BUT there is good news - for those who are like me and like the old way of statically controlling the cranes, there is a control setting that allows you to use the legacy controls.

There are some obvious issues, such as the old engine looping sounds we saw in SnowRunner, the physics can sometimes be a bit wacky and end up with you bouncing off the floor, but overall I've had a pretty solid experience with the game (Multiplayer only playthrough, too) after I solved the issues with crashing and graphical errors which I can only blame NVIDIA for - their drivers have been abysmal recently. Otherwise, graphics have been amazing and I have no issues.

Overall, I would say that despite it lacking some of the depth of previous games, there are enough unique aspects that make the game good on it's own, with the changes to gameplay mostly being more accessible, though it would be nice to see the return of manual gearboxes and other QoL features in the future. The game as it stands is pretty damn solid and I can honestly say it's a good base to start from.

I just hope that future content isn't entirely paid additions as there is a lot of potential in this game that should be enjoyed by more people.

Solid 7.5/10 so far. Potential to be far, far greater.

Good game, quite enjoyable.

Beat it in 17 hrs without dying, saw plenty of life sigils throughout though.

Combat's simpler than Eternal, less forced animations except for bigger enemies and bosses, some good vehicular elements too.

Story's pretty good. Won't spoil it though.

Music is massively underwhelming. There were 4 points throughout the whole 22 chapter story in which I thought 'yeah, now THIS is DOOM'. Those 4 points were in the last couple of chapters.

Always online DRM is massive no. I know it's more and more common on newer games, but still... no.

Would probably recommend on sale.
