Had a lot of fun with this one. Great combat system (controller mapping takes a bit of getting used to), enjoyable story, and a whole host of nice characters.

The best idle game ever.

Starts off simple and gradually adds new layered gameplay systems. There's a lot of systemic depth here and it will be a welcome game for any hardcore RPG fan who also happens to like cookie clicker and that ilk.

I've played this game for a little while and I think it's pretty fun. Good movement, great combat, and the developers are always adding new features to keep the game fresh even after all these years.

Super Kiwi 64 is an amazing true-to-form N64 style collectathon platformer. Great controls that instantly bring me back, visuals that look incredibly close to the N64 games of old, and some inventive level design and activities. Main character has a great moveset.

Above all else, this game is just FUN. It's a short blast (can beat it in around an hour) and I highly recommend it.

Dwarf Fortress is a people/base management sim that has captivated me for years. The game has always had a steep learning curve that this Steam release helps to make much smoother. The new interface and mouse-based controls make it MUCH easier to get into.

I can finally recommend this wonderful game to everyone.

Dark Souls 4 in all but name, this game is the culmination of everything FROM Software has been building to for at least the past 13 years.

It's also one of the best games I have ever played.

While this game is marred by some unfortunate performance issues, it's proven to be one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in well over a decade.

The world in this game is exceptional. Seemingly bright and inviting, the game lures you in and slowly unveils itself to you. Each new area has an entirely different vibe, has suffered a different sort of apocalyptic destruction, and is lingering on vainlessly. There’s a specific moment in the woods of Limgrave that surprised me and left me without words for a while. Just how big is this world? Just how many secrets are hidden here?

One of my fears going into this game was that something would get lost along the way. Would the FROM Soft formulae work in a vast open world? Would their density of detail and environmental storytelling remain despite the sheer scope of it all? Would the “look around every corner as you are sure to be rewarded” exploratory loop hold true for a game that is many times larger than everything they have done before? Thankfully, the answer to all of these questions was a resounding YES.

My first playthrough of ever recent FROM Soft game is usually pretty similar: I play entirely blind with a DEX character while almost never using my shield. This time I decided to play as a primarily INT character, a spell caster. I loved this playstyle more than I expected but near the end of the game the allure of powerstancing with some DEX weapons proved too strong and I wanted to change my build. Thankfully, this game has a seamless respeccing process and enough upgrade materials that the prospect of completely redoing my build in the last 10% of the game wasn't just possible, it was painless.

Looking at Steam, I’ve played this game for over 230 hours. I don’t think I’m done with it, yet.

One of the more fun first person shooters I've played this game is great.

It's evocative of the 90s DOOM games despite not really playing like them.

For the basic details, the game looks amazing even years after its release, sounds wonderful (the music is fantastic and, despite not being music I would normally listen to, I can’t imagine a better score for the action in the game). The controls aren’t 100% perfect but they’re great nonetheless.

The levels are where this game truly shine and where the game evokes the older DOOM and Heretic/Hexen games the most. They’re truly expansive and there are hidden areas nestled in every nook and cranny.

The game offers a great sense of progression, it’s A TON of fun in the moment-to-moment gameplay sense, and it’s just a blast to play in general.

One of the best FPS games in a decade. Buy it.

An odd game all around. This game has randomly generated infinitely spawning enemies, plays like a fast paced source shooter (because that is what it is) and has some of the most dense RPG skill/stat systems I've ever seen in a shooter. Good fun, especially if you can muster together a few friends for the game's up to 64 player multiplayer

This game is one of the worst "functional" PC ports I have ever played. You need to download a user created tool to even run the game at nomal speed because the game is hard coded to only run normally at the 360 clock speed.. plus the menus are designed entirely around controllers (including needing to press keyboard equivalents of the 360 bumber buttons (SHIFT and ALT, I believe) to switch between menu tabs). Publishers need to get their minds in order. If your lazy ports wouldn't fly on another console why do they expect PC gamers to put up with such BS?

A fantastic game and a worthy successor to the first Deus Ex. A cohesive visual design lends gravity to each environment, the stealth gameplay is some of the most enjoyable I've played, multiple solutions to each area/puzzle, and gunplay that (while not the focus of the game) has a sharp, punchy feel to it that makes every headshot very satisfying. One of the best games of the year, and a strong contender for best modern FPS RPG.
