Early Access Review
This is the second time I have given this game a chance and they have done nothing but complicate the beginning steps of the game more than they already had before the major update.

Before I go on a rant about what I don't like, the one thing that I appreciate about the game is the gunplay. The weapons feel punchy, but not over the top with recoil.

And with that one positive out of the way, here is the bad.

The last time I played was around a year ago, and there have been no changes to the game apart from the new bunker which makes things more annoying to navigate. The layout is nonsensical, with it just being a massive tube with connected rooms. The key card system they had was a little annoying, but at least with the previous update the bunker looked lived in and had proper thought put into the design.

Additionally, the amount of bugs with the settings menu and the initial setup were one of the biggest headaches that I have had with a game for a long time. Everything from the snap-turning, the height calibration, the IK body system, everything! Some of the options in the settings menu were even unfinished. I know that this game is still in early access, but if you have the time to make in-game award plaques about the steam award you got, you have the time to enter a name in the settings.

The chest rigs, backpack system, and movement were one of the most frustrating things I experienced in an actual match. In gunfights, because the way to grab certain items like mags is different from the mag pouches, I often found that I would grab the entire pouch rather than the magazine that I wanted. As for the backpacks, the area that you have to grab it is extremely specific. If your hand is just a little to high above your shoulder, you can't grab your bag. And the only way to walk is if you have your gun pointed ahead. There are also several ledges like on rooftops that you can't jump on to. The only way you can get up is by glitching up with a ladder, even though it is only 2.5 feet tall.

I was only able to bear this for less than an hour before god spared me any more pain and my power went out for a couple hours.

I really wanted to like this game, as it is one of the only tactical PvP VR games on the market that is supposed to take a more serious tone, but with all of the issues that plague the experience I cannot recommend this game until they fix the issues and in general make the game feel more fun.

Several issues. Firstly, the vehicle creator is incredibly tedious and mind numbing. Having to scroll through a long list of unsorted items is the worst of it. Second, small boats that go into water with higher than 5 feet have about a 75% chance of flipping over into an unrecoverable state. Lastly, the massive list of general physics bugs related to rope and jumping when on a boat would make the Oxford dictionary look like a short story for kindergartners. Several other annoying quirks like the boats not accurately representing going up a wave, or siting stationary at a dock has made this the final time I ever consider playing this game. I wanted to give this game a second chance, but in the short 45 minutes I spent stuck trying to flip my boat, I lost all interest. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I do think that the devs need to fix the main foundation of the game before continuing with more DLC. I personally have not bought any DLC content, but I doubt that they would distract me from the big issues. Save your 25 dollars and buy some other game like Trailmakers for the same price and with better multiplayer.

If I had to pick a single word to describe the gameplay, the word "Where?" is probably the most fitting

10/10, would die in a wet ditch again

I bought this game for 10 whole dollars out of my bank account with the sole purpose to shoot, stab, burn, crush, explode, drown and destroy every human and android I came across.

And it does this very well.

Thank you for helping me become the psychopath I always wanted to be. 11/10

A beautiful game with several impressive environments. Even with my decent pc it still runs very well. Great game.
