As familiar to play as Assault Squad 2 which is one of my favourite games hands down. This just improves upon certain Men of War / CTA features into a better experience. If you like the realism and management of Men of War, do yourself a favour and get this. They also release a steady stream of updates and DLC's adding new content.

First off i'm really enjoying the game, love how you now have freedom to complete missions however you like and the three skill trees are a nice touch too. Sniping feels fun, send a normal round into a targets chest.. there going down. I didn't see any killcam If thats in the beta that is, but regardless sniping is alot of fun. The map seems like it's going to be big, I noticed on the ledgend on the map theres transition points or what not where you go to another part or area etc so that seems cool as the map in the beta was pretty big itself.

People complaining about performance issues and bugs.. It's a beta.. like... what do you actually expect? It's not a finished product, use your brains, of course theres going to be problems. Those who put those issues aside, i'm sure you'll enjoy this. Imagine Sniper Elite mixed with Far Cry on an open map in Georgia. Thats what this is, however in this short amount of time it felt more fun than Far Cry did i can tell you.

Weapon custimization is a nice touch you can buy weapons and them customize them with Scopes, Mags, etc. You can also create different throwables and ammunition types at the workbench such as AP rounds which obviously do what they say on the tin there AP rounds, Some sort of new experimental ammo against vehicles ( Didn't try it out) and a sort of luring device you can fire from your rifle in a special type of bullet which as you can guess lures enemies to where its shot.

By no means finished playing with this yet - ive done the missions but now is the time to explore, there is a massive restricted area so you know- curiosity. Overall I'd say this looks like it will be a decent game, massive step up from GW2, fun gameplay, replayability with the outposts and stuff ( Kinda like Far Cry - ish) good exploration to get collectibles and or resources and lots of long range headshots!

As long as people play, spot and report bugs and glitches then everything should be fine, Dont come on giving it a negative review with one sentance saying " ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance blah blah this Bug that" Video it, Screenshot it, report it - problem solved.

War Of The Servers? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

232 hours on record and I'm saying 200 of those are on surf servers, This was the first game i ever played on Steam about 9 years ago? Maby 10 and i still play to this day. Never really bothered with CS:GO and not sure that i will, oldschool for me.
