The game's ignored folks! Basically the game isn't even worth playing anymore even as a free weekend game simply because you can't earn Renown points with their new solo-game play options (whereas before you could with their original "lone wolf system"). I personally got to level 79 just by lone wolfing so unless Ubisoft reinstates the original lone wolf gaming system I won't play this game again even on a free weekend. It's new AI NPC solo setup only hard crashed on me once so far but otherwise played normally but it's only against other Rainbow operators and not the terrorists like the original lone wolf system so solo players just taking up the game are missing out there. I do like that you get to use operators that you don't own as well as have faster attachment selection then the regular way in the mission prep screen. The other target drill solo option is a total non-starter being totally generic and not even worth trying IMHO. I personally saw bots rez out of thin air right in front of me! Plus the game still has the problem of targets blinking out of existence quickly after being downed whereas having them disappear after the player hasn't been in an area for a while would be more realistic. The new AI bot thing would be fine but as a solo player I'd rather have them on my team issuing commands to them instead of being opponents. If it's only a training scenario it would be fine but at least have masked Rainbow Six trainee recruit hopefuls be the targets wearing appropriate electro-shock haptic-suits so when they get downed they stay down. Some miscellaneous somewhat minor complaints I have about R6:S are that every time I re-install the game it doesn't remember the load out for my operators so I have to waste time re-selecting everything (whereas all of that info should be stored in the cloud and only need to be input once even when the game is uninstalled). I'd like to also use my created FPS characters made in other Ubisoft games in a custom character slot (or over the stock Rainbow Six Trainee avatar). Also it would be great to get a Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. series flight suit outfit in the game.

As for where I think Ubisoft should go next with the Rainbow Six franchise I'm more interested in a Rainbow Six first person shooter adventure game focusing on the single player experience (much like Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero) for example featuring Operator Taina "Caveira" Pereira's origin story. Another interesting concept to me is a Rainbow Six organization simulator like a mix between darkest dungeon, SimHealth and an x-com base management game (and toss in x-com's tactical combat-why not?-perhaps Ubisoft can get a good deal from Firaxis for the X-Com engine?). It would be a great way to promote the operators themselves for Rainbow Six: Siege proper.
