I have realized how terrible I would be in any real-life situation once one of the dogs ate one of the guys on board with me, causing me to panic and launch early, stranding the rest of my teammates to their certain death

This game is the litmus test for how good your friends are when you're all in danger

As someone who's played through the original a couple of times -- enough to where I've got the layout of the first couple of levels essentially memorized: I truly think that if Looking Glass had today's technology, this is the game they would've made. It's a refreshing take on the original, yet adds new mechanics that make it interesting to play (recycling/credits/itembox). The combat's largely improved, the implants have been tweaked to be better, the HUD's actually normal for once (you know what I mean if you've played the original). It's fun as hell.

This was worth the wait.

If you're new to the System Shock series, or if you're a diehard fan of both Shocks, I'd highly recommend grabbing this bad boy and playing it through. You won't regret it.

A Classic RTS, Jagged Alliance 2: Gold includes the extra short addon released two years later* as well as the main game. Additionally, it also supports the fabled 1.13 mod (guides and downloads can be found on the internet with ease).

JA2 is a classic of the RTS genre, one of (if not the) best. The level of management, inventory, controls, are reminiscent of the early Fallout games (but better, IMO) - they were released in that era. The Gold Pack includes a bit more ease in controlling higher difficulties, as I had understood you could change some settings.

Playing with the unofficial 1.13 stable patch adds many new flavors and options for optimal replayability. 1.13 or not, JA:2 is a classic must-get in the RTS genre.

Downvoted. Can't wait to see this as a tale! -1

Okay, joking aside, as an SCP author it wasn't... a bad product. It's ambitious for a first game and was a pretty good attempt. I streamed it in one of the largest SCP discords with a bunch of authors and we all had good laughs going through it. It suffers from some grammatical errors here and there (if you need or want someone to proofread or grammar... I'm available). I know you were trying to condense the story but the start was initially very exposition-heavy and skipped over a couple of details (like the translation collar, assuming it's from the D-Class uniform). There was also a problem with how abruptly it cut off - at first I actually thought I had misclicked or something! I would actually recommend just ending it when they go to sleep the night before, and having a "Continued in Chapter 2" card so people don't accidentally think they exited out of the game. The voice acting quality is... dismal, no offense, but reading over how it was a couple of friends makes sense. If you want, you could always get some professional or even more experienced VAs and keep your friend's voices in by changing sets of voices - but I've never actually worked with RenPy so I don't know how feasible that is.

I'd also be down to help you guys do proofreading or anything writing related for free. It's nice to see more SCP fangames out there.

Overall, it was a little short/bland and not much happened, but it was indeed a start for a chapter series worth of VNs and for two dollars really isn't much of a bank breaker to experience some ACTUAL SCP VN CONTENT (which is an untapped market, I'd think). It was good work for a first game, could use a little bit more polishing, but it wasn't bad and I'll play Chapter 2 whenever it comes out.

I guess it's up to me to leave an English review? The software's basic for $5.99 and could use some tweaks, but since it's in Early Access I'm sure any bugs/features will be ironed out by solid release. I happen to have tons of .mid files, but in most cases you can find them free online. Overall, buy it now if you're really into this sort of product, but waiting a bit for more features won't kill ya.

Another note: Unlike Synthesia, this game is more rhythm-based. It'll use sheet music that you can read, and try and put their respective keys, but it's not necessary. It's more about training your left/right hands to do different sections off of their rhythms, something I struggle with playing keyboard. Good product for a one-man-job, looking forward to future updates from the dev.

This game caused me to have the first good tears of thankfulness I think I've had in a long time. Even if this game were $20 I'd pay it in a heartbeat. Thank you to those that responded to my request, even though you'll never know it; it meant a lot to me. Thank you.
