Really excellent DLC. Really enjoyed the story and even many of the side missions. The Okkar architecture and ships are really stunning to fly around and fight. Just overall very high quality and I can't show enough respect for the pre-launch price drop on the DLC.

I can't think of many games that receive this level of support and content updates for this long (including going back and updating old DLC).

Extremely extremely fun game. I played the earlier build in 2020 and found myself coming back to it this year now that it was more complete. Combat and gameplay loop never get old, music is excellent, the environments are stunning. Extremely easy recommendation to make.

Unbelievably good game, scratches several types of itches at once. Everything is so refined and well-thought out it's crazy to think it's still in early access. It seems like every new patch brings good QoL adjustments and great new features. It's quickly rocketed to my top 3 most played games on Steam, beating games I played over years and years.

Really fun game, despite its ups and downs over the years and many balance patches. An absolute blast to play with friends.

Really good but don't buy the Penumbra or Awakening DLC. Lots and lots of ways to customize your experience and approach problems in many different ways.

Extremely good, cute characters, great writing, simple gameplay. Can't recommend it enough.

I would best describe this as a "grimdark city builder", which I can't say I've played anything similar to before. My only qualm is that the game specs are a bit misleading, as almost every building has some kind of light or smoke effect attached to it. So by mid to late game the performance requirements to just look at your city start skyrocketing. I should also note I've only played the "A New Home" scenario. Other than that, the game is really fun. It's got just the right balance of difficulty. The game gets steadily harder but the difficulty always takes a temporary step back so you get a taste of what you need to prepare for. Definitely a game that feels like you're rewarded for planning, and I always appreciate that. Great music too.
