of the Devil is one of my favourite games of all time and it's not even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finished yet. It is genuinely AGONY that I have to wait for more content, this story is so compelling and well written and exactly the kind of thing that will occupy my brain until Chapter 3 is out.

Hey so remember when you played Stardew Valley, and it was better than every other farming sim Harvest Moon type game you ever played? And remember how it made playing any other game in the genre impossible cause it wasn't anywhere as good as Stardew Valley?

Fields of Mistria is better than 1.0 Stardew Valley. Maybe not 1.5, cause it's still in early access, but I can see it getting there very easily.

the only thing the game is missing is an actual vampire

If you want a story light JRPG with extremely free exploration and party customization through a Job-System as good as the good Job-System Final Fantasies than this game is perfect

and I do want that, so I really really really like this game

Story Sucks, Endgame isnt great (mayhem mode is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad), but the gameplays the best its ever been

maybe gearbox will eventually stop being terrified of making a game thats actually just good, instead of one thats good in spite of its many flaws
